Discontinuation of the Private Web Server (PWS)
A major topic in this release is the discontinuation of the Private Web Server (PWS) from the installers. This feature has been announced since last year and it's removed from InterSystems installers, starting with this developer preview.
Effective immediately InterSystems will no longer support Health Connect on Solaris. Previously released products starting with 2017.1 will also no longer offer this combination. This is in line with InterSystems HealthShare, which is not available on this platform.
Given the number of new features in this release, InterSystems has decided to add this fifth preview as part of the 2024.1 developer preview program. This extended developer preview release only includes InterSystems IRIS® for HealthTM, and HealthShare® Health Connect.

This is the eighth in a series of releases that are part of the developer preview program for 2022.2 Future preview releases are expected to be updated biweekly and we will add features as they are ready.
