Question Elijah Cotterrell · Aug 17, 2023

I'm using the PEX framework to create non-polling Business Services in Python. Below is the code I've used to instantiate my Python Business Service from the application I have written:

conn = iris.connect(...)
IRIS = iris.createIRIS(conn)
#...#
pexserv = iris.pex.Director.CreateBusinessService(conn, "Demo.PEX.FlaskPEXService")
response = pexserv.ProcessInput(record_id)
IRIS.close() # Release IRIS obj
conn.close()

The Service works fine, messages are received properly by the target Business Process as defined by my PEX service, however, every time I run

Hello,

First of all thanks for your time, thoughts, teaching and help:

We wonder how could we get the metrics from http://[Ip]:[Port]/api/monitor/metrics and use them in Kibana to chart statistics.

We would like to ask you how do you use the api monitor metrics, and as a second question, how would you suggest to utilize them in a third party software as Kibana to chart them.

We have thought to do the following:

1. Retrieve Metrics from Intersystems HealthShare API: Use a tool or script to make requests to the Intersystems HealthShare REST API and obtain the list of metrics.

Question Alin Soare · May 30, 2024

Hi,

I am using Windows 10 and I cannot find an installation source for the irisnative python library.  I tried to install the wheel file provided by intersystems on github (https://github.com/intersystems/quickstarts-python/).

c:\wc\quickstarts-python\Solutions\nativeAPI_wheel>pip install irisnative-1.0.0-cp34.cp35.cp36.cp37.cp38.cp39-none-win_amd64.whl
ERROR: irisnative-1.0.0-cp34.cp35.cp36.cp37.cp38.cp39-none-win_amd64.whl is not a supported wheel on this platform.

Is irisnative supported on Windows 10 ?  The purpose is to execute ObjectScript command from external python code.

This is for IRIS For Health 2024.2.0

We are migrating away from the .NET Gateway and trying to use the python integration instead.

I followed the instructions to install IRIS

Then I installed python following the IRIS documentation indicating that python should be installed globally.

I set up the PythonRuntimeLibrary and PythonRuntimeLibraryVersion options under System->Configuration->Advanced memory settings and when I run the shell function, I get python:

USER>do ##class(%SYS.Python).Shell()

Python 3.12.6 (tags/v3.12.6:a4a2d2b, Sep  6 2024, 20:11:23) [MSC v.

I cloned iris-rag-demo from Open Exchange and issued docker-compose up -d. I went to the front end and type in the chat message:

Who was the 46th President of United States of America?

I got a run time error:
