#Adaptive Analytics

InterSystems IRIS Adaptive Analytics is an optional extension that provides a business-oriented, virtual data model layer between InterSystems IRIS and popular Business Intelligence (BI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) client tools. It includes an intuitive user interface for developing a data model in the form of virtual cubes where data can be organized, calculated measures consistently defined, and data fields clearly named. By having a centralized common data model, enterprises solve the problem of differing definitions and calculations to provide their end-users with one consistent view of business metrics and data characterization.

Developers, we have prepared a tutorial to get you started with InterSystems Adaptive Analytics powered by AtScale. In it, in addition to setting up AtScale and working with data cubes, we will also touch on methods of working with InterSystems Reports and other analytical systems.

Now the course is ready and we want to conduct a pilot training course on a small group of volunteers (3-5 people).

The course will be held in the form of two-hour classes for three consecutive days from 11/14/2022 to 11/16/2022. The time range is approximately 2pm to 6pm UTC+4 (Dubai).

InterSystems IRIS Adaptive Analytics version 2024.1.3 is now available from the InterSystems Software Distribution  page.  This release includes AtScale 2024.1.3, and an updated User Defined Aggregate Function (UDAF) file.  This release includes and the following new modeling and BI capabilities:

  • Formatting of calculation output based on on the field input rather than just the format defined on the calculation.  This is particularly useful for calculations that can't have a standard output format, such as year-over-year growth in dollars, euros, or time.

Hi Developers!

Here're the technology bonuses for the InterSystems Analytics contest that will give you extra points in the voting.

Adaptive Analytics (AtScale) Cubes usage - 4 points
InterSystems Adaptive Analytics provides the option to create and use AtScale cubes for analytics solutions.

You can use the AtScale server we set up for the contest (URL and credentials can be collected in the Discord Channel) to use cubes or create a new one and connect to your IRIS server via JDBC.

The visualization layer for your Analytics solution with AtScale can be crafted with Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, or Logi.

In our latest episode of Data Points, I had a conversation with @Thomas Dyar about AI Link, which helps bridge the gap between data scientists and business analysts. Our conversation talks about how AI Link fits with IntegratedML and Adaptive Analytics, as well, as what new features are on the horizon for IntegratedML. Take a listen!
