Hi,

We're having an issue with some messages being sent to a downstream system from Healthshare.  Part of the free text in the NTE segment is displaying with special characters on the system front-end but is not present in the HL7 message that we send to them.  We are guessing that this is a result of some of the text being copied and pasted from something like MS Word. The '?' on their system is just representing an invalid character.

Is anyone aware of a way to prevent this occurring? We are sending the messages using the 'cp1252' encoding.

Sent from us to system

What displays on the system

Hi,

We're having an issue with an inbound message to a Healthshare Business Service where the '£' sign is not being recognised and is being passed onto our downstream systems as '?'.

NTE|1|ODRCMNT|test!comments for pou$nd sin

We are using the 'latin1' selection for the Encoding.

Does anyone know the correct Char Encoding to use to remedy this issue?

Regards,

Martin

Hi,

I have a PV1 repeating field that can contain multiple or a single value. I'd like to always pull the last value in the field but am not sure how to configure this in my DTL.

The repeating field is in PV1:50().1

Could somebody shed some light on this?

Examples:

|15081942~15081951~15108961~15280550|

|15081947|

|15081939~15081940|

Thanks

Hi,

I've setup an operation that pulls text from an MDM message and uses it to generate a csv file. I'm having issues as our vendor is sending the file with a carriage return (as shown below) to signify the next line but Healthshare is recognising this as a new segment which causes an error.

Hi,

I’m working on a project to add specific PID data to an ORU_R01 message by querying our patient system and adding it to the ORU. Here is what I have
managed to do thus far:

-    Received ORU_R01 message
-    Created Q21 message using the PID data included in the ORU message and sent to patient system to query.
-    Received a K21 message with the required PID data

I’m stuck at this point now. I want to add a specific piece of the K21 PID data (highlighted below) to the original
ORU_R01 PID and was hoping you would be able to assist.

I am doing this using Studio.I want to avoid using a BPL.
