Hi everyone - In IRIS we would like to arrange the access of two users in such a way that each has access to exactly one (his) database only. Which resource does this (%DB_%DEFAULT allows each of the two users access to both databases). If you create new resources (%DB_Database1 and %DB_Database2) and then add them to individual roles (each for the user to), the access for the users, for example, via a REST client does not give the desired separation (instead once Ok, other database 401 Unauthorized both OK). Is there something special to consider or a special resource that could do this or .

We tested REST Services  as described for Caché DocServer example and for requests using http protocol it works without problems. However when we use the https protocol for the same REST Service it is not available. Our infrastructure is as follows: Apache with openssl, which works on the other hand well for CSP with https. If we switch on the web gateway http trace facility we could see the request of CSP pages by https://. but again a request of a REST Service by https:// will not result in a entry in the tracer.

we build a COS-application which includes classmethods for running a simulation calculation (differential equations by Runge Kutta procedure) which runs well but needs too much time.  This is embeded in Cache Server Pages and we tried already to start the simulation as a JOB to avoid the CSP-timeout. However the Job needs of course also too much time. May be this could be solved by a different strategy to run the simulation calculation by an external Windows -Programm (developed with Delphi).
