Is there syntax in the schedule specifications for specifying the "last" occurrences?
e.g., instead of WEEK-01-04 (1st wed's of month), WEEK-LL-04 (last wed's of month) or
instead of *-*-01 (1st of every month), *-*-LL (last of every month)

I searched the documentation and community forum, but didn't see anything that addressed this question.

InterSystems FAQ rubric

One way to optimize query performance is to use query parallelism on a per-query or system-wide basis (a standard feature).

This is a technique for dividing the execution of a particular query among processors on a multi-processor system. The query optimizer will execute parallel processing only if there is a possibility of benefiting from parallel processing. Parallel processing is only applicable to SELECT statements.

Hi Everyone, I'm Prakash Hinduja, a financial advisor and consultant. My roots in India now living in Geneva, Switzerland (Swiss). I'm looking for some suggestions on how to get the best performance from Adaptive Analytics 2023.2. I know it uses Adaptive Parallel Execution and automatic aggregates, but I'm curious if you've found any other tips or tricks. For example, are there any specific data modeling choices or system configurations that have worked well for you? I'm trying to make our cubes as responsive as possible. Thanks in advance for any insights!

Regards

We are trying to mark a hl7 nack as "completed" to ignore an error and not generate the alert.

We can remove from adding a managed alert or add another router in

When Nack of CR of

Date of birth in PID.7 must not be empty

We tried via this but i think it's only for an actual IRIS alert errror not the HL7 error code/description

E*Date of birth in PID.7 must not be empty=C,:?CR=C,:?R=RF,:?E=S,:~=S,:?A=C,:*=S,:I?=W,:T?=C

Target Practice for IrisClusters with KWOK

KWOK, Kubernetes WithOut Kubelet, is a lightweight tool that simulates nodes and pods—without running real workloads—so you can quickly test and scale IrisCluster behavior, scheduling, and zone assignment. For those of you wondering what value is in this without the IRIS workload, you will quickly realize it when you play with your Desk Toys awaiting nodes and pods to come up or get the bill for provisioning expensive disk behind the pvc's for no other reason than just to validate your topology.

Here we will use it to simulate an IrisCluster and target a topology across 4 zones, implementing high availability mirroring across zones, disaster recovery to an alternate zone, and horizontal ephemeral compute (ecp) to a zone of its own. All of this done locally, suitable for repeatable testing, and a valuable validation check mark on the road to production.

Hi,

I tried to create a client for Google Cloud Storage using a private endpoint.

like this:

S client=##class(%Net.Cloud.Storage.Client).%New()

S sc=client.CreateClient("",2,credentialsFile,"",.out,privateEndpoint)

But privateEndpoint seems not to be used when trying to send blob from a file:

D sc.UploadBlobFromFile(bucketname,blobname,filename)

We can see at the firewall that the client still tries to use the public endpoint for GCS.

Trying to extract the narrative text from large CCDA files using EnsLib.EDI.XML.Document:GetValueAt method

Getting a MAXSTRING error from the GetValueAt method.. Tried alternate by using GetSubDocumentAt and put it to string. Still it is giving a Invalid OREF method. Is there any limitation on these OOB methods. Also looking for ideas to extract it

Hello everyone! 👋

I have a question regarding roles and resources.

To give you some context: I have a user who has been assigned only the role %HS_UsageDashboard_Access.This allows them to access the dashboards correctly (by giving the direct URL). Then, if I try to access the Management Portal with this same user, I can log in with no access to any resources within it (as expected).

IRIS Home Assistant Add-On (HAOS)

InterSystems IRIS Community Edition HAOS Add-On

Run InterSystems IRIS inside of Home Assistant, as an add-on. Before you dismiss this article possibly under the guise that this is just a gimmick, Id like you to step back and take a look at how easy it is to launch IRIS based applications using this platform. If you look at Open Exchange, you will see dozens of dozens of applications worthy of launching while they are basically hung out to dry as gitware, and launchable if you want to get into a laptop battle with containerd or Docker. With a simple git repo, and a specification, you can now build your app on IRIS, and make it launchable through a marketplace with limited hassle to your end users. Run it along side Ollama and the LLM/LAM implementations, expose anything in IRIS as a sensor or expose an endpoint for interaction in your IRIS app to interact with anything you've connected to HAOS. Wanna restart an IRIS production with a flick of a physical switch or Assisted AI? You can do it with this add-on, or your own, right alongside the home automation hackers.
