Syntax highlighting in VS Code markdown

I am writing documentation in VS Code, using markdown, and am including some COS snippets in it, e.g.:

```objectscript
[Some COS snippet]
```

The IRIS language server (etc.) is enabled, and classes in the repository this documentation is in, are syntax highlighted properly. However, the code fragment in the documentation isn't. Syntax highlighting for e.g. XML does work.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this not supported?

Turns out it wasn't hard to add this. Download and install 1.8.2-beta.2 if you want to try it out.

Only the editable file gets coloured, not the preview. It may be possible to address that, but would require more work than I have time for at the moment.

Wow, thanks very much. I did try, and it seems to work flawlessly. It makes editing the markdown already more pleasant, even without the preview being colored. Thanks again!
