Hi
Just looking to tighten up a new application

As an example, the application may have a path such as;

     Omniata.au/csp/SomeApp/ListIndex.csp

on a Windows server in the path of ;

     C:\InterSystems\IRIS\CSP\SomeApp

and display images from a path such as;

     C:\InterSystems\IRIS\CSP\SomeApp\images\Pic1.jpg

If a user wishes to browse through the website, they could point their browser at the path ;

     Omniata.au/csp/SomeApp/images

and guesses some file names, they could view the images

If I do something similar on commercial web sites, I get an error that I'm not authorised to view, I get ...

Hi,

I would like to know if anyone has had some experience in building systems for multiple end-users.

To keep things simple, in a hypothetical example, say an Event Booking System, where a Venue could sign up to use such a system and define it's Venue, costs, calendars, etc.. and then invite their customers to book the Venue on different days/times.

If I wish to offer such a system to many Venues, there are a number of options available.

  • Simply create a unique copy of the system for each Venue, in their own Namespace, unique classes and applications
  • Set it up, so that every Venue shares the

Hi,

It has been pointed out to me that one of my applications fails to display all of the contents when displayed on an iPhone or a tablet of smaller res that a desktop screen.

Desktop..

iPhone..

The code does not change between the two views of the same page.

To maintain easy alignment and control, I have used standard <tr> and <td> <table> codes, expecting same behaviour in any browser on any platform. My guess is using <div> controls for display will make a difference, but I'd be interested if anyone has any experience of this kind and if there is a simple fix.

The code snippet doing this

Hi,

Somewhat weird behaviour in testing values in a resulting query.

I have a table where I need to read through a list of data, and apply a charge for matching occurrences. However, only ONE charge for one set of data. I have applied a DISTINCT function to the query, but as I cannot get a completely unique set, the DISTINCT function does not de-duplicate all of the sets.

I have therefore attempted to look for a value that if it repeats for the one data set, I can choose to skip the function that applies the charge.

The problem, is that a comparison in CSP is failing to produce the required

Hi,

There have been similar questions asked before, but a few years ago now. My problem is that when I create an application in plain CSP, a typical link to a page will look like this in the browser..

https://omnidata.com.au/csp/lcda/StudentList.csp?CSPCHD=001000010000EYn…

One user sent back a comment.. 'I'm not using your application as it is un-secure' .. based on the fact that the elements are spelled out in the URL.

Is there now some way of hiding the path and the .csp page in the URL?

Thanks in advance,

Rosti.
