Question Roger Beeman · Dec 13, 2017 SQL or Cache Function? Hi -I'm creating a custom report in Health Insight via SQL and one of the requirements says that I must include patients who are >= 13 years old (which is easy) but I also need to include patients who WILL be 13 years old as of December 31st of current year that the report is ran in.I see that there is an Age column and an AgeInMonths column in HSAA.Patient. and of course a DOB column. I'm wondering if it is possible to do this purely using SQL (and SQL functions) or if I will have to incorporate a COS function to achieve this requirement.Any suggestions? #Caché #SQL 0 12 0 1.4K
Question Roger Beeman · Apr 20, 2017 Enhancing SQL Query for Date Range in WHERE clause Hi All - I was wondering if the below query could be enhanced to automatically look back 24 hours from the current datetime the query is run. As is now I, of course, have to update the date range in the WHERE clause manually. The query is just getting all MessageBodyClassNames, counting them and then doing an AVG on TimeCreated and TimeProcessed. Nothing too complex. SELECT MessageBodyClassName, count(ID) as Count_Of_Messages, avg(datediff(ss, TimeCreated, TimeProcessed)) as avg_processing_time_in_seconds FROM %PARALLEL Ens.MessageHeader #SQL #Caché 0 1 1 2.6K
Question Roger Beeman · Mar 27, 2017 Managing both Cache User Accounts & Delegated User Clinician Accounts Hi All -Our environment has multiple instances of HealthShare installed and most are on separate VMs/servers. Does anyone have any ideas on how to efficiently manage user accounts across all of these multiple instances of HealthShare? As you can imagine, creating 10 separate Cache accounts on each instance during onboarding of new associates is cumbersome and tedious as is disabling them. We have yet to integrate with AD but we do have a Cyberark initiative under way but it is in the very early stages. #Beginner #System Administration #Access control #HealthShare 0 3 0 776
