Question Rebecca Johnson · Mar 29, 2024 Outbound ODBC connection to PostgreSQL on Fedora 38 Attempting to setup an outbound (I'm querying out, not querying the IRIS db) SQL connection. I am connecting to a PostgreSQL database, name "hl7interface". I have setup the odbc.ini file at /usr/local/etc with the following contents: [HL7Interface2] Driver = PostgreSQL Description = HL7 Interface DB Servername = localhost Port = 5432 Protocol = 7.4-1 #userName = postgres #Password = <real pw here> Database = hl7interface ReadOnly = no ServerType = Postgres I have set the /etc/odbcinst.ini file with the location of the PostgreSQL driver: #ODBC #InterSystems IRIS 1 6 0 189
Question Rebecca Johnson · Feb 6, 2024 Stopping commenting continuation in VSCode Wondering if there's a setting in VSCode to stop continuting commenting in VSCode? For example, if I have //this is a comment and press enter at the end, it will continue on the next line with //this is a comment //| I would like to stop this behavior, or have it only continue with a block comment. Is this possible in VSCode? I think it's part of the ISC extension that causes it, as it doesn't happen for other languages. Thanks! #VSCode 0 5 0 326
Question Rebecca Johnson · Dec 20, 2023 Compile errors stop displaying in VSCode on Fedora 38 Occasionally, in VSCode, compile errors stop displaying. I'll be getting errors on compile all along (expected, and it compiles while saving using CTRL+S), until they'll suddenly stop. I haven't found any solution, including restarting VSCode and restarting my user session in Fedora. I'm running IRIS locally on Fedora and running VSCode also on the same machine. The only solution I've found is to restart IRIS. It's a solo dev environment and relatively small, so restarting isn't anything but an annoyance. Are there any known bugs around this or any other solutions? #Compiler #InterSystems IRIS #VSCode 0 1 0 185
