Needs some help with FHIR return code 200 or 201 when processing HL7 messages in HealthConnect.

Issue:

1. If FHIR code is 200 or 201, HealthConnect keep processing HL7 messages

2. If FHIR code is NOT 200 or 201, HealthConnect keep suspend the HL7 messages in the messages queue, then keep processing NEXT subsequent HL7 messages in the TEXT file if the FHIR code is 200 or 201

3. I am also using following "Reply Code Actions" in Operation settings (:?R=S,:?E=S,:~=S,:?A=C,:*=S,:I?=W,:T?=C)

Please advice if I have a "if condition check" for FHIR codes 200 or 201, what "Reply Code Actions" I should use?

I built a BP, that every time that a message is received from a BS, it executes

As I am iterating through the FHIR JSON Response from a Patient Search, I am running into an issue where the extracted values are not being popualted into the Response object that I have created. If I do a $$$LOGINFO on them they will show up in the Object log, however if I try the following for example I get an error.

I am trying to centralize our FHIR queries into a single BP object that would send the FHIR query to the EMR, interpret the response into a %Persistent structure that could be sent back to the requestor. In theory it seemed like it would work but I am running into an issue..

Does IRIS have any support for paginating FHIR searches other than the standard next/prev links as defined in the FHIR spec?  For instance, some servers support an _offset or _skip parameter to allow for jumping to specific pages in a result set.

I'm using the iris for health community edition and I cannot seem to get the FHIR server configuration UI to show up.  I was able to create a FHIR server programaticlly but none of the user interface features that the installation guide talks about are available.  Once I was created the server I was able to see a Bulk FHIR Coordinator in the management portal, ut that's it.  Are the UI features not available in the community edition or do they need to be enabled somehow?

I have been struggling sometime with trying to take a FHIR Bundle Response, extract the "entry.resourceType", extract the MRN and Name from the Patient FHIR Response...

Going through learning.intersystems.com, it suggested that I try using fhirPathAPI to parse and search my response for certain values, however I am not sure my syntax is correct. Using the AI code, it suggested to set my tree = "Bundle.entry.resource.resourceType"

So I have been working in Healthcare Interops for about a month now and in IRIS. I am looking to implement SMART on FHIR and I am currently working to make an endpoint that works as the discovery endpoint. It is a custom dispatch class and unauthenticated is selected for access. I am trying to make a simple get request from Postman to test that the proper JSON is sent, but I receive a 403 Forbidden error. It is reaching IRIS it seems so I know its not a reverse proxy error. Here is an example of my custom Dispatch Class.

I am receiving a FHIR response bundle back with a resource of patient. Using fromDao, I attempted to take the stream and put it into FHIRModel.R4.Patient but it is not mapping correctly. When I attempt to take FHIRModel.R4.Patient and write it out using toString(), all I am seeing is the resource

so the response is not mapping correctly to FHIRModel.R4.Patient. How have others handled this? Do I need to translate it to an SDA since it does fit the model format?

I am making a FHIR request against Epic, in when I get the Response back using "fromDao" I am extracting the stream into HS.FHIRModel.R4.Patient. However, the patient's name comes back as name within a list that references HS.FHIRModel.R4.SeqOfHumanName.

• How do I extract the name from HS.FHIRModel.R4.SeqOfHumanName?
• Do I have to then do another "fromDao" to pull the list into string format?
• How do I navigate around the lists that are in a FHIRModel response, to extract the string values?

I was wondering if anyone had a way to automate creating the Query String for a FHIR Request?

Using HS.FHIRServer.Interop.Request in my development I have to specify the following...

I was wondering.... if my source had variable number of fields if there was a way to automate the build for the QueryString when doing a Patient Search?

I am trying to replicate a way to use FHIR as a way to query the EMR instead of using a MS SQL Stored Procedure that is populated via HL7 ADT to query.

I have Windows 11 installed in parallel desktop if that's required and complete installation / setup is not possible on MacBook.

I'm working on FHIR project and using this code to convert an incoming request to FHIR

I understand that InterSystems provides functions to facilitate transactions between FHIR and HL7 via the SDA segment. My question is:

• Does this transformation only work when InterSystems receives FHIR requests and converts them into HL7, or does it also support responses?
• Specifically, if our operation sends a GET request to a broker and receives a FHIR response, does InterSystems support transforming this response into an SDA segment automatically?
• Or should we manually parse and modify the response to handle it according to our needs?

What would be the best approach in this scenario?

Everytime I try to send a POST FHIR bundle I'm getting the following response: 404 Not Found. I'm not really sure why, although it works fine with a GET!

I'm trying to customize error handling in the overriden HS.FHIRServer.Storage.JsonAdvSQL.Interactions::Search method. It is clear how to add to the resultset a valid FHIR resource (pseudocode):

I am trying to work with Epic on FHIR. Epic's documentation stated, your application makes a HTTP POST request to the authorization server's OAuth 2.0 token endpoint to obtain access token.

My IRIS instance is connected to a Postgres database using SQL Gateway and linked tables. One of these tables is projected to the Patient class. I want to select a record from this table by ID and convert it to a FHIR resource using the %ExistsId and %OpenId methods. I noticed that if I call these two methods from the console, the record is always found. But, if I do the same from the FHIR Facade layer, the %OpenId method returns NULL.

I'm attempting to build a fairly complicated object graph, with nested objects and collections, in order to create a FHIR bundle.

In its most basic form there is a <bundle></bundle> element that represents the root, and there can be a number of nested <entry></entry> child elements.

I'm attempting to represent this as such:

The problem is when this is projected it nests each Entry object within an Entries container, which makes sense but I don't want this.

I finally figured out how to get JWT token using set x = ##class(%SYS.OAuth2.Authorization).GetAccessTokenClient("medbank","openid fhirUser",.prop,.err).

I also found iris-fhir-client app on Open Exchange. I registered Epic sandbox server, but I cannot list resources. I suspect I need to integrate authorization / authentication. How do I do this with irisfhirclient py?

I'm playing with some anayltic queries against FHIR server tables. The HSFHIR_X0002_S_Patient.addressCity table contains a lot of cities which names contain german charachers such as ä, ö and ü.

The following query works fine:

But this one converts city names to uppercase, and characters with umlauts are lost, so instead of "Köln" or "München" I see KOLN and MUNCHEN:

I'm using DBeaver with IRIS official JDBC driver.

I am trying to use IRIS for Health as a Facade for an external FHIR Server, where IRIS provides the proper authentication. The client authenticates using a bearer token obtained from the IRIS OAuth2 server via a jwt client assertion. The IRIS endpoint, however, returns a 401 as soon as I remove the Unauthenticated access

Is there w way to make this work through configuration?

I am still trying to understand and come up with a use case to use FHIR as an enhancement to our existing HL7 messages. Does anyone have an example of taking a FHIR response and transforming it into a SDA?

How does the workflow go? Does it go through 1 BP?

I am trying to create a HS.FHIR.DTL.vR4.Model.Resource.Encounter message based on a conversion of HS.FHIRServer.Interop.Response QuickStream to a JSON %Dynamic Object. 

When I try to send the HS.FHIR.DTL.vR4.Model.Resource.Encounter onto the Router

1. it is not showing up as a Defined Message Class to Route the message back to the SourceConfigName of the Request message that initialized the FHIR query
2. I keep getting "ERROR <Ens>ErrBPTerminated: Terminating BP EPIC.FHIR.Process # due to error: ERROR #5002: ObjectScript error: <SUBSCRIPT>%SaveData+29 ^Ens.MessageHeader.1 ^Ens.

I was looking for an easier way to build the FHIR Query String, given the Record Map request that is passed into the DTL.

I built this Function, but when I run a message through it, my Query String that is passed back into the DTL is a Reference Pointer and not the String I am looking for.

Does anyone have an example of extracting the Resource from a FHIR Bundle?

I'm unable see the FHIR SQL builder /csp/fhirsql and /csp/fhirsql/api/ui  endpoints in web application to access the FHIR SQL builder. I'm using community edition 2024.1 and it contains the "FHIR SQL Builder".

Using the FHIR DEMO, I have pieced together how to make a FHIR Request using OAuth against an External FHIR Repository. When I execute the Patient search (HS.FHIRServer.Interop.Request), I get a HS.FHIRServer.Interop.Response that has a Quick Stream ID, which I then use to convert the Quick Stream to a JSON Dynamic Object. if I do a trace on the Raw JSON Object, I am able to pull out single elements, however I want to pull the raw JSON into a defined Class Structure. 

I tried using fromDao(dao As %DynamicAbstractObject) As <HS.FHIRModel.
