Meet Scott Roth – New Developer Community Moderator!

Hey Developers!

We're pleased to introduce Scott Roth as a new Developer Community Moderator!

Let's greet Scott with big applause and take a closer look at his bio!

Scott Roth is a 14 year Solutions-oriented Integration Interface Specialist with notable success directing a broad range of corporate IT initiatives while participating in planning and implementation of Integrated solutions in direct support of business objectives.

Specialties:

  • Design/Development of MS and Oracle SQL Databases,
  • HL7 Ancillary Solutions,
  • InterSystems Ensemble Solutions.

Integrating it all together to create a more robust environment.

Some words from Scott:

— While only working with InterSystems Ensemble the past 3 years, I have greatly expanded my knowledge of Ensemble and Caché ObjectScript by asking questions and watching the Developer Community. I tend to ask questions, then figure out the answers on my own or with a little help from others.
[GREAT JOB, KEEP IT UP!]
— Before InterSystems Ensemble, I spent many years as an eGate developer. Specializing in DART, JDBC, and other out of the normal odds and ends.
I am currently working for The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center as a Sr. Application Development Analyst in the Integration – Interface group, trying to expand our knowledge outside of the HL7 world to better suit the needs of the Medical Center.

Some facts about Scott's workplace:

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, formerly called The Ohio State University Medical Center, is a multidisciplinary academic medical center located in Columbus, Ohio, United States, on the main campus of The Ohio State University. In 2012, the Ohio State Medical Center changed its name to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. In 2017, for the 25th consecutive year, the center was named among the best hospitals in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report. In the 2017 rankings, Ohio State was recognized a national leader in seven specialties: ear, nose and throat; nephrology; cardiology and heart surgery; neurology and neurosurgery; cancer; pulmonology; and diabetes and endocrinology. Additionally, five specialties were named as high performing: gastroenterology and GI surgery; geriatrics; orthopedics; rehabilitation; and urology.
