How to keep Intersystems HealthShare logged into the Studio when opening Processes and Transformations?

Good morning,

first of all thank you for taking the time to read and answer this question.

Recently, since we have upgraded to HealtShare 2020, we experienced the fact that when opening in the Studio the Process (.bpl) and Transformation (.dtl) classes, it asks us to log in, i.e. username and password, almost every time we open a new Process or Transformation.

However, in previous versions, I think we had HealthShare 2016 or 2017 or 2018, and in it, you could log in from the Studio in Processes and Transformations, logging in 1 time only.

Is there any way to allow Studio users to preserve their session and have it be valid during the workday?

We ask this, because as developers it is quite unfortunate to be cut off from the flow state, of maximum concentration, performance and mental focus, when opening a bpl Process or Transformation, as it asks for username and password over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Please could you help us with this?

Thank you very much in advance.
Again, thank you very much for your time, attention and above all for reading and responding.

Best regards.

This probably has something to do with the security configuration in the SMP and how session sharing is working.  Sounds like it's starting a new session every time.  I suggest contacting InterSystems Support and they can help you debug the situation.  This definitely should not be the behavior and would certainly be quite disruptive to anyone's workflow!
