Healthcare Cache ODBC Driver / Connector

Hello All

Could someone help me in the details of the ODBC connection  I need to connect to the Healthshare Cache databases for the CMC application?

Hi Eduard

I am trying to connect to our Healthshare cache database using Alteryx. SO I am not familiar with how to connect to to this at all. Do I need to download a specific ODBC driver, and do I need a specific username and password to attach to that driver? If I go into Alteryx and choose a 32-bit ODBC connector, I get a "Cache 2012 (System)" connector that has preconfigured properties and when testing that connection it works, but there is nothing available from that connection.

Any ideas? I could attach what the connection properties look like if that helps?

To connect you'll need a create a new Cache connection (as the driver seems to be installed) and specify these params:

  • Host/Port (Copy from existing connection)
  • User/pass
  • Namespace - you need to choose a namespace with the data you need.
