Link with Editor on Atelier Explorer view

Can you make the "Link with Editor" option work on the Atelier Explorer view? (It works fine on the Project Explorer view.) It seems a minor fix but it would mean a lot to us developers! Thank you

This is on the Atelier team's radar. There is an internal bug report to get this implemented. It is currently categorized as a low priority and targeted for Atelier 1.5. I just noted in that report that a customer requested this feature and linked to this DC post.

If you (or any of you other customers out there) would like to discuss changing the priority on this report, I'd suggest filing a new WRC case with Support. Our Support team can have a conversation with you about your specific needs then make the case with development.

Sorry Nicole, it is planned for version 1.5. While we waited for current version 1.1 since 1.0 one year. So, it will be solved in 4 years. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

And about issues on WRC. I really don't like an idea to fill issues with Atelier with WRC. This issues should be publicly available, where users of this IDE can even vote for some issues.  It would be much better if InterSystems will open special repository on GitHub for issues in Atelier.

Hi Dmitry, the Atelier team has started to switch the Atelier release cycle to quarterly releases. Yearly released like we all observed between 1.0 and 1.1 are not helpful. Like so often when change is required there are wrinkles in time that will influence how quick this change will occur. We are experience this in the moment, but working diligently toward quarterly releases. InterSystems well established process is to report issues or enhancement request via the WRC. This will have to continue. The Atelier team is very careful and keenly aware that the prioritization of what gets done is important not only to InterSystems, but also to the users of Atelier. There are many strategic areas in which we need to succeed. I like the idea of public voting if appropriate and within a certain scope. We will introduce this in the future.
