An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Caché Objects full stack web developer to join our rapidly growing company based near Old Street.

The Job

Our customers use our software to manage events, from small meetings to high-profile conferences and shows. The quality of our software is critical to their success, and critical to our business.

The successful candidate will join our agile software development team and will play a key role in ensuring that we deliver great software to our customers. They will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from specification through to implementation and delivery and will be encouraged to search out new tools and techniques that will keep us at the leading edge of Caché powered public websites.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be a self-disciplined, conscientious person who has high standards of quality and accuracy. They will have great communication skills, with the ability to be both diplomatic and firm. They will be inquisitive and curious, with a nose for finding bugs. They will be passionate about software and software quality.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • A computer science or computing-related degree or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of Caché, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • A proven track record in developing web-based applications
  • Five or more years experience in a commercial software  developer role
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
  • Good knowledge of general web topography, protocols and infrastructure

Desirable Experience and Skills

  • Good knowledge of jQuery, BootStrap, Git, Vc/M, Kendo UI
  • Software development as part of an agile development team using Scrum or similar
  • Knowledge of web standards, usability and accessibility
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Experience in developing in a security sensitive environment
