Thiago Bonfim is a serial entrepreneur and the CEO of Caren. He holds a degree in Communications with a specialisation in Human Behaviour, and works across product and commercial strategy. His core strengths sit at the intersection of gamification, user experience, and interface development—designing engagement loops, shaping intuitive journeys, and translating complex healthcare needs into simple, high-adoption digital products.

Previously, Thiago founded the social network Pnera.com in partnership with football legends Zico and Ronaldo Nazário. He also co-founded the fintech useniq.com alongside Alexandre Marchetti, former partner at XP Investments, helping build products and go-to-market strategies in highly regulated environments.

At Caren, Thiago leads the development of a digital health platform focused on care journeys and actionable insights from health and benefits data. The company helps organisations improve engagement, support prevention and chronic-care management, and drive better outcomes through structured programmes, intelligent workflows, and a product-first approach to behaviour change.
