"Can Affective Computing Change Patient Care?"
Don't miss an opportunity to get the answer to this and other questions about affective computing from MIT Professor Rosalind Picard, the foremost authority on this topic and one of its most influential champions. Named one of seven Tech SuperHeroes to Watch by CNN and founder/director of the MIT Media Lab’s Affective Computing research group, she first coined the term in her book of the same name (Affective Computing, MIT Press, 1997).

"What Can a Developer Learn from a Robot to Unlock Creativity?"
Gil Weinberg, founding director and professor at Georgia Tech's Center for Music Technology and the man who taught a robot name Shimon to play jazz, will share his research on applying artificial intelligence (AI) to creative endeavors. According to his official biography, his work in the emerging field of Creative AI is "at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and music." Weinberg will also participate in the Wednesday afternoon Post-Summit Symposium: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
