Trouble editing my profile

I'm trying to edit my profile but running into trouble.  When I go to the Edit tab, I can see a form for editing appear and then quickly disappear and then the only option I'm left with is this:

If I try to uncheck and save this setting, it appears to save, but when I navigate back it always remains checked.

Any suggestions?

It seems to retain the setting for me.  I'm using Chrome Version 48.0.2564.116 m (64-bit)

I see the same (bad) behavior with Chrome and Safari on OS X and Chrome on Windows.  But my main concern is the fact that I can't access any of the other settings (I just see them flash by very quickly as the page is loading).
