Hello,

There is a problem connecting clients through ODBC.

"ERROR [08S01] [Cache ODBC][State : 08S01][Native Code 459]
Connection via cconnect failed:
TCP connect() failed - exception satisfied select().
Reason: (10061, 0x274d) No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it."

Error sometimes occurs. In cconsole.log there are only messages about high CPU usage.

ODBC and Cache version Cache for Windows (x86-64) 2013.1.4 (Build 801).

Any suggestions?

Hello,

We're having troubles with working over Telnet on Caché Unicode with WRQ Reflection.

We can't input extended characters (é,à,Ø,...), DELETE-key doesn't work, ...

Has anyone a solution for working with WRQ Reflection or a decent alternative ?

We tried Putty and Caché-terminal but these are not sufficent.

Regards,

Kurt Hofman.

We are running old VB code on a Windows 2012 R2 server.

In the last month the following error has been happening.

      Failure to create CacheObjectConnection.
      Failure in GetClassInfo for CacheObjectConnection

      Factory not connected to server
     Send to Cache' failed

Neither the the code or Cache instance has not changed.

Cache 2017.1.1.111.0

The code:

        Dim bRtn As Boolean
        Dim objCacheObject As Object
        cntr = 1

Hi Guys,

I'm upgrading Cache 2008 to 2014, and for two clients so far all good, but with this third one and while trying to mount the main database that includes the data, I'm getting error #36 "database is not mountable"!?

but cache instances the old 2008 and the new 2014 at installed the same way (8 bit) and Cache.dat is (archive) NOT read only so I don't know what could be the problem?

Thanks

Hi Guys,

is the there a way that I can make a routine call from one cache to another?

I've a client that still on Cache 2008 and given that JSON is not much supported in V2008 we thinking of installing Cache 2014 in the same server Create a routine that handles JSON (in Cache2014), and then simply call in their current Cache 2008 just make a routine call of that is V2014?

thanks

We have noticed in the course of the last 18 days our CACHE.dat has grown by 20 GB. Is there a way we can break down the data in CACHE.dat to see what could be growing in size?

Let me state it another way.....Is there a way to see what space an Operation/Service/Process is taking up within a certain Production?

Thanks

Hi, Community!

Coding guidelines discussion. Consider you have For with one command in the cycle. Here are the options:

One

For i=1:1:1000 set ^Test(i)=""

Two

For i=1:1:1000 {

 set ^Test(i)=""

}

Same for the "If":

if a set b=a

or

if a {

 set b=a

}

Your choice? Or maybe even other options?
