Hi Scott!

There is no need to integrate IRIS with Github. It's more about how the IDE you are using to develop IRIS solutions is integrated with Github. And the majority of modern IDE are integrated with Github already: VSCode goes with Git/Github integration out of the box ( and I believe Visual Studio too (as soon as Github is Microsoft now too).

If the question is how you can develop IRIS solutions having the code managed in Github there are a lot of approaches. You can check these videos made by myself which illustrate:

The answer is:

To remove the Count measure put any other measure of the cube into the Measures section of the Pivot.

Hi Vivek!

Instead of &sql ...

you can do:

write objExternalUser.%Id()

Hi Jimmy!

401 means that Authenticated user is not authorized to reach the server.

To prove the fact you could grant the application a %ALL role (the second tab) and this should work then.

Hi Stella!

This is complicated cause the base class of a cube should contain the most granular records for the subject area being analyzed. Speaking with family terms children can analyze their dads in a cube but not vice versa.  That means want to analyze Kids - build the cube for Kids.

There is one trick though which lets you analyze Kids from Dads assuming if your Dad is not very fruitful ;) I mean this will work if your Dad has less then 1,000 kids)
