"Server-side text search is available in projects with connections to servers 2017.2 and higher." Please refer to the  1.1.391 release notes for details.

Hi Julian, it is a good question. Generally speaking, it is highly recommended that you avoid putting all sources into a single project. It seems like you didn't use any source control before and it would be a critical migration step for you. To help you convert your code base into Atelier projects, we need to learn more about your development environment, such as the source code control system you choose and the structure of your code base.

It's a UI bug and the fix will be in the next 1.0 update.

Hi Evgeny,

In the Atelier world, the server is a place for you to compile and debug. The source of truth lives on the client side, so we recommend using source control tools to help the team get on the same page. I hope that answers your question!

Joyce

Hi Evgeny,

. project is a basic Eclipse project configuration file - it is required in order for Eclipse to recognize it as a project directory.

.buildpath is also required for basic support.

.version and .connection are created by Atelier - neither have to be version controlled. We will remove .connection soon.

Hi John,

It should work. I tested with a clean Eclipse and got this error "Missing requirement: Atelier IDE 1.0.116 (com.intersys.eclipse.feature.estudio.feature.group 1.0.116) requires 'org.eclipse.dltk.core.feature.group 5.3.0' but it could not be found." Did you get the same error? We should be able to fix this pronto.

Best,

Joyce
