When working with the dateText component in a Zen Application and setting the parameters "format:DMY" and "separtator:/" I cannot save the  right date to the database.

In short, I have a structure similar to :

Hi All,

I'm having a strange issue where doing a .setValue on a ZEN datacombo is updating it with the value as-is, not the corresponding display value. Eg, if I connected it to query that returns two columns: ID,Name, and do a setValue(ID), I would expect the text in the datacombo to update showing Name. Instead it updates show ID, which I only want to use internally.

However, if I click on the dropdown, showing all the valid Names, select one, it works fine, showing Name (with the ID retrievable by getValue() as normal).

I am writing a little app where I press a button on a Zen form. It calls a ZenMethod that uses zenPage.launchPopupWindow() to provide me a way to choose a file. I then click on an upload button that calls a csp cache language script file that runs on the server, that grabs the contents of the file and stuffs it into a global. I want it then close and return to the parent window to continue processing the contents of the file.

I have a Zen Mojo application, developed using Bootstrap plugin and using "Explicit Dispatch" with multiple templates.

I have every template representing an specific area of my application (customer, order, logon, application settings, etc.). 

Each template has specific code,  client side validation and so on related to its areas by using javascript.

So, I would like to know if it is possible, for example, through my order template call a javascript function from another template (e.g.: customer), where I there is functions for document id validation, date of birth validation, etc.?

I have a 100% ZEN application combined with 100% ZENReports and am also using IFind which is part of the solution.

 Our application is a cloud hosted solution where we lease a server which does not have a website, only  Cache configured under IIS.  Connectivity to our site is premised on a URL string such as  u12345.usa-server.com/csp/namespace/Cache.cls

With the release of Firefox V52 this connection string is now seen as security threat as we have an application login page using  two <password> controls.

I have a datacombo that displayes value from a db table.

I would like to set one of this value as default value. How can I do that? Is there a way to say selected value given the text or the Id from the DB table?

I have a  Zen Page with tablepane which has a datasource in a different namespace to that of the Zen Page. When the page is run, no data is returned and the tablepane is not populate,  even though the rerferenced table contains dat.

The tablePane code is as follows:

I have been following the online Zen Quickstart Tutorial using the lastest release documentation. In addition to playing around with the styling and making a few minor functionality tweaks, I wanted to add an additional column that shows a count of the number of phone numbers for that Contact (as shown in the image below).

The idea here is that you can see what contacts have phone numbers without having to click on the "view phones" link. All I have done here is add a blank additional column to the %ZEN.Component.tablePane object

In toolbar, by default, all items show on one line and when menu items do not fit on visible part of screen, invisible items hide and appear two buttons - last item and previous item.

I want, in that case, items, which do not fit on visible part of screen, go on second line. In other words, I want all items to be visible.

Is it possible to configure toolbar for behavior I want?

I need to open a Windows explorer window by pressing button on a Zen page.

performed a search but I did not find anything.

The command I used in the terminal was  D $zf(-2,"START C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32").

I am not sure how to use this in a Zen application.

I have a ZEN PDF report that prints headers and footers with images correctly but when I try to embed an image into a table it does not print.

Are there examples snippets where a fully url qualified image can be embedded within the <table><item><img> tags?

I have a question about how to set the value of a radioSet.  Yes, I know -- the documentation says that setValue can be used "client side", but gives no example.  Plus, I'm trying to set the value of a radioSet in %onAfterCreatePage, which is a Zen method? Server side method? I'm not sure.

In my Zen page I create a radioSet like this:

I want to select a radio based on a sepcific value, that I get from code.

e.g.

Method %OnAfterCreatePage() as %Status

set value = class.

The dataCombo property columnHeaders is a comma-delimited list of column headers displayed in the dropdown list.

Comma is a delimiter.

But, if I want add comma to columh header, for instance "House number, apartment" - this is value for header of one column.

How can I escape comma in this case?

Does anybody have a solution for replacing ActiveX in ZEN interfaces running in Chrome and Edge?

I am not able to modify security settings in either browser, hence looking for a replacement for those controls.

Have a Zen report with a huge query that we are trying to break down and be more efficient.  

Looks like Zen only wants to take a result set class as the data (or XML, but writing to a file to generate these reports is probably even more overhead).

Is there a way I can move through a result set object, delete rows I don't want based on some objectscript commands and the pass that to the report?

Or can I pass a dynamic object?

I'm starting to play around with dynamically creating tabs and panes from query data, and was trying to do the following, with nested tabs.

Tab Group

High level tabs

Sub Tab Group

Sub tabs from the High level tabs.

So I have built up my page with a placeholder top level tab group, then creating and added child tabs to this, then from this level, I have created a new Tab Group programatically, and programmatically added tabs to this new group.  However, all I am getting is the top level of tabs, with all of the leaf data concatenated under it.

I am attempting to do two things with the mime types.

Collect the mime type from a stream(%FileBinaryStream) using this syntax: myCONTENTTYPE=stream.GetAttribute("Content-Type")

However, myCONTENTTYPE always comes in empty.

Set the CONTENTTYPE PARAMETER in the OnPage ClassMethod of a ZEN page, using this syntax: s ..#CONTENTTYPE=myCONTENTTYPE

However, I cannot seem to get the correct syntax.

Looking at the documentation expalining the use of client side menus, including the drop down menu.

I was messing around trying to get the "Open", once clicked, to use javascript to open windows file explorer to open/pick a file.

I've got it to partially work... Using keystrokes Ctrl-O will open the file explorer yet clicking on the drop down's File/Open does nothing.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

NOTE:  I had commented out the two &html lines in the Testing Method... and doing a Ctrl-O still work.

I have a homeTemplate and ExamesTemplate page. When I'm in ExamesTemplate and make a resfresh (F5 browser), the page back to the HomeTemplate. I need the page ExamesTemplate not return HomeTemplate.

Has anyone worked out any tricks to overcome this issue in 2015 and IE11 where the Dialog content is masked. I'm trying to fix it in a custom one, but you can see that the same issue is happening in the Standard Color Selection one as well.

Good afternoon, I have a tabGroup where I populate tabs with images using the scr property. If a user scrolls to the bottom of the image on a tab, when they go to the next tab, they are also at the bottom. When moving between tabs, I would like the user to always be presented with the top of the tab content. I have not been unsuccessful in doing this. Hello, I created a Zen Report and I want to export to Excel. I read I can use $MODE=xlsx but my output in Excel is not correct. All 3 elements are condensed into one cell. I have a PDF ZEN report module that I'm using  XslFoXslt to highlight the table cell.

What I need is for a particular value to add a background image to the <item> that is calling the XSLFoXslt
