Greetings!

I'm new to Zen reports and I'm wondering if what I'm trying to do is possible.  I have a classmethod  that accepts three parameters to generate an xml file from a global.    I've set up my Report Definition to call the ClassMethod that generates the .xml file; however, I'm trying to figure out how to pass the parameters to that ClassMethod from the Report Definition.  The example in the documentation shows parameter passing using SQL (which I'm not using), so I'm curious if this will work.  

When using the link component on a ZEN page the default behavior is for the link to appear to the right of the tablepane row. Has anybody changed this behavior so the link appears to the left of the tablepane row? Thank you in advance for any and all feedback.

I have a ZEN report, which gives a PDF output, i want to generate this report programmatically, save to a location in the disk. Here is my method so far

Hi all

I have a Zen page which displays the contents of a table. One of the columns is a file path to a file on a local disk.

Is it possible, on a Zen page, to allow that file that described by the file path to be downloaded when a hyperlink is clicked on?

I’m running into an issue with a %ZEN.Component.tablePane in a Zen page.

We have:

• A fully styled table with all columns defined
• A backend query (SearchMessages) that accepts multiple filter parameters
• A set of input fields at the top of the page for filtering (text, date, and checkboxes)

We’re trying to run the query from a button click using a client-side method (runSearch()) that collects the filter values, sets them as parameters, and calls executeQuery().

The problem is that the table does not update at all Old rows remain, or sometimes nothing appears.

I am trying to define the charset for a JQM Application and it is not working. I have tried the following options without success:

I'm getting the above error.  My zen page calls other javascript methods  and other server methods just fine.  But when I call my  method, I get the error.  Yes, I've tried making it look exactly like the methods that work.  But for some reason, it doesn't seem to know that DoLogout is a zen method. 

Anyone ever get this error?

Has anybody created a way to change the background color of a cell depending on the value contained in the cell. This is simple when only one background color is required. However, if there is a requirement for several different colors depending on the value of the cell, the out of the box <condition/> approach does not suffice. Thank you for any feedback.

I’ve hit the wall. I’m a one person shop who wants to start developing Cache on a mac using Eclipse/Atelier, after using Studio for the last 5 years. I’ve installed the 1.1 beta plugin, watched 6 or 7 videos from the September conference, tried several times to work through the cheat sheets, only to have connection issues or compilation issues, so at this point, I’m feeling very frustrated. The videos were interesting, but generally didn’t work as tutorials for fundamental programming operations, for me.

Actually, I'm developing few restful API's. I want to create a authentication tokens and display it on my login restful API. If I'm using CSP sessionId, how can I validate the session Id's in another or continues restful API's. else, is there any other approach to handle this task. 

My Primary goal is, I have to integrate 2 different front end applications. One is Zen framework another one is web pages from Python. 

If any lead, it would be appreciated.

I am able to display my query result in the table pane, but I want to update it based on user click but it doesnt work. Can this be done? Below is what I am doing but it doesnt change my value on clicking. Would appreciate some guidance on this

I want to save data after changes on a row.

The existing samples do not explain how to save changes on data in a grid.

I have tried something like zen(‘json’).save

In my production I receive an  XLFO stream and I would like to pass that to the FOP pdf rendering engine to produce pdf files .So far in my research that can be achieved through ZEN .

    We have a session values in a cache method and need to get those values in a client method (JavaScript).
   
Eg : 
    ClassMethod Method1()

}

}

ClassMethod getSessionValues() As %String [zenMethod]

This is the code we implemented. But the problem is getSessionValues() method isn't called.
We need to know how to call a class method from client method.

Hello,

One of our AP would like us to provide the file upload/download sample code by using ZEN Mojo.

I already provided them the attached "upload-sample".

I tried to create the "download-sample" in a similar way, but I couldn't do it yet.

Does anyone have a good idea/sample about this?

I'd like to download the server side file(e.g. c:\temp\nene.jpg) into client machine with a OpenFileDialog(image.png).

Hi everybody,

we have some legacy ZEN applications build upon CSS2 style definitions. We moved the application due to an upgrade to a newer version of cache (2017.2.1). Anyway I have in mind that in one of the prior relases css3 style interpretation was enforced by ZEN and you could explecitly tell the framework to use CSS2 by setting a global. Anyway I can´t found any hints in the docs on that. Does anyone of the %ZEN gurus have this in mind?

I'm building a ZEN page that will dispay HL7 from a database, and am currently displaying it an textarea.

 Is the HL7 viewer that is displayed when HL7 message is selected in a visual trace available as an out of the box tool I can plug into a webpage?

I'm trying to create a Zen Report that, when rendered to PDF has a header on every page that includes some items from the group that I'm iterating over in the <body>.  I can't use <header> as that only displays once for each iteration, even if that spans more than one page, but <pageheader> seems to be independent of <body> so again doesn't work.

Good morning, I have a ZEN application being served up through a CSPGateWay. That ZEN application is made up of two ZEN pages. One ZEN page uses a zenLink to call the other ZEN page(see below #1). The ZEN page that is called contains a tab group with one tab. That tab contains a tif image. I have components on the called ZEN page that execute JavaScript to perform simple image manipulations - zoom and rotate(see below #2). Those simple image manipulations have stopped working. If I load the called ZEN page directly AND use a fully qualified domain name, the simple image manipulations work!

The only example I could find in the documentation was:

where I could only statically display a label. Anyone have any have any experience here?

Is there any default exception handling feature available in Zen report? I am working on a report that comprises of several different composites report (%ZEN.Report.Display.composite). I am incorporating several composites into the main Zen report, If any composite fails or encounters an issue such as issue with the sql statement or class method which i am using to fetch the data, the report (pdf) fails and shows a Zen error. It is very hard to find an exact composite or code that causes the error as Zen report displaying a generic Zen Error without any details.

Is there a call in ZEN to FOP to combine (merge) separate PDF documents into one?

Or does anyone know of a Windows server program that could be called from Cache to do this.

Let's say I want to override the HTML that is generated by provided ZEN Mojo Helper Plugins I use the onloadHandler method of my document page, retrieving elements, and modifying them using jQuery syntax.

For example, I'm using bootstrap, and, I want  the <button> element automatically generated with the use of the $navbar layout object, to collapse/expand a different <DIV> on my page, to the default one it produces. 

Is this the correct spot and approach to use ?

Hello All,

While extracting the huge amount of data in the cache through the Zen page, file extraction timing is greater than session time out. How to increase the session timing in Zen/CSP gateway or If any other solution would be appreciated.  Please advise.
