Open question for all of you...

We are getting some warnings in our code of a class definition when switching namespaces in the code, because the classes we use in different namespace wouldn't exist in each other's... an example:

ClassMethod DoSomething() {
     set oldNS=$zutil(5)
     znspace "SECONDNS"
     set ok=##class(MyPackage.MyClass).MyMethod()
     znspace oldNS
}

In that example, the vscode "Intersystems Language Server" extension would tag "MyPackage.MyClass" as a problem because that class only exists in the second namespace.

How do I run a CSP page from within VS Code.

Secondly I have installed an extension called "Live Server" which will run .html pages within VS Code. Have any of you made use of this extension and if so can you specify that .csp pages are html pages?

If I press F5 in VS Code (just as you would in Cache Studio) in order to view a csp page when I press F5 in vs code it tries to open

http://localhost:57772/csp/bootstrap/

without the csp page name

Newly created routines aren't showing up in the list for a namespace, even using the refresh button.

I checked the ^ROUTINE global and the newly created routine is there. Also, I can zload it and zprint it in the namespace.

Is there another global that is not being populated that vscode uses to build the list?

What VSCode configuration/setting/knowledge am I missing?

Why doesn't "ObjectScript Class" (or something similar) appear as an option when I select "New File" from VSCode's "File" menu?

As Atelier for Eclipse seems that will be discontinued, I decided to start moving my coding environment to Visual Studio Code. I kind of like it, and I'm getting used to it.

But I can't find the way to have several server connections as I do in Eclipse, and so creating projects based on that servers. Is there any way to do it?

I am currently trying to better my development process by using Visual Studio Code because I'm more familiar and comfortable with it than Studio.

I've followed the guide here, but I'm still having issues. I initially didn't have the Web Socket protocol allowed on my Web Gateway server, but I enabled that and restarted the server with no luck.

There is a error when I try to use VSCODE to connect to my Ensemble Server. What's wrong with me？How can I Configure this /api/atelier web application

When start docker in VSCode:

A very common problem of our users is to use an external database as data source in an IRIS production. As many of you already know, we have two ways to connect directly to an external database, the first one is using an ODBC connection, the second is using JDBC.

Every day coding with IRIS and docker I call the following 3 commands in VSCode terminal. Always the same for any projects:

docker-compose build   ; to build the container

docker-compose up -d   ; to run the IRIS in container

docker-compose exec iris iris session iris ; to open the IRIS terminal

Is there any way to map the key sequence which will type me the rest?

Hi all,
By using VS code, I want to copy multiple files to local directory, then sync them to server, but I can't find where local directory is stored?
In Atelier IDE, I could open a view of server and can copy the code to the project, then code is saved in the local directory. When I copy multiple files to the local directory -> choose sync in Atelier -> the code will be synchronized to the server
How to do this from VS Code?
