I want to implement isc-rest in my new project iris-budget/module.xml at master · oliverwilms/iris-budget

I get this error:

I have always struggled with Iterating through a JSON response to pull out certain fields into a Data Class Structure to use to populate fields in a DTL. So I defined the whole structure for the following JSON, with the base structure extending Ens.Response, %XML.Adaptor, and %JSON.Adaptor.

In my previous HttpRequests, I have used Content-Type = application/json but I have a vendor that is requesting we send application/x-www-form-urlencoded. How would I go about formatting the Payload as x-www-form-urlencoded?

Defining my first REST API within InterSystems using iris-rest-Api-template as a basis and I am seeing if someone could provide me some guidance to see if I can make it work.  

In some of my other posts, I have been trying to come up with a way for our Enterprise Application Development team which works with .Net to build Applications to make a REST call to our instance of InterSystems to query some of the Cache Tables we have defined. 

Using the iris-rest-api-template, I have created the osuwmc.DataLookup.REST.Base.cls

There is a Master Table within IRIS that I am populating from Epic but want to share it with our Enterprise Application Development Team (Web). As a test I was able to use _SYSTEM from postman to execute the following.

I see a lot of cool REST apps and i'm trying to host something in the TIE using REST/Axios with VITE. 

At the moment i will probably host the application in web applications in Intersytems. 

For authorisation and getting the logged in user and password to any app, is there a standard people are doing? 

I.e. for axios you might have this from the app

        username: apiUser,
        password: apiPass
      }

But surely you want to pass through credentials from the IRIS logged in user, or alternatively pass the credential request to IRIS API to first receive the data.

Some languages ​​have the concept of a garbage collector for automatic memory management. I'd like to know if something like this exists in InterSystems Caché in the context of routines, %CSP.REST, or %CSP.Page.

The question arises from the %Close() method of the %RegisteredObject class. This indicates that I need to manually clear the object from memory if it's no longer in use, or in the web context, if the request has completed. Is this correct? Or am I completely wrong?

I’ve been exploring options for connecting Google Cloud Pub/Sub with InterSystems IRIS/HealthShare, but I noticed that IRIS doesn’t seem to ship with any native inbound/outbound adapters for Pub/Sub. Out of the box, IRIS offers adapters for technologies like Kafka, HTTP, FTP, and JDBC, which are great for many use cases, but Pub/Sub appears to be missing from the list.

Has anyone here implemented such an integration successfully?

For example:

• Would it make sense to leverage IRIS’s Business Service + REST API adapter to connect to Google’s Pub/Sub REST endpoints?

I am trying to help another group within our organization access a SQL Table that I have created to populate Epic Department Data within our environment and came across the ability to use SQL Seach REST Interface using iKnow.

However, I am having issues trying to get it to work via POSTMAN before I hand off the solution...

I’m working on an InterSystems IRIS production that needs to call an external API using OAuth client credentials (client_id and client_secret). For security reasons, I must pass these credentials via environment variables in my Docker container.

In the IRIS terminal, I can successfully retrieve these environment variables using $System.Util.GetEnviron("api-clientid") and $System.Util.GetEnviron("api-clientsecret"). However, inside my Business Operation class (OnMessage method), these environment variables return empty strings.

I have a rest API Class used for getting data from Cache 2018 version.
I have single route '/callfuntions'
I send the following parameters to the API :-  className, methodName, params
I use $CLASSMETHODto execute and send the result back to the client.

If I make more that 10 to 12 requests in quick succession, then it stops sending data.

if I wait for over 10 seconds it allows me to send more requests to the API.  How do I resolve this?
