#Open Exchange

Hi!

As Atelier for Eclipse seems that will be discontinued, I decided to start moving my coding environment to Visual Studio Code. I kind of like it, and I'm getting used to it.

But I can't find the way to have several server connections as I do in Eclipse, and so creating projects based on that servers. Is there any way to do it?

I am trying to add Web Terminal as a feature for my team to use.

We need to resize existing images already in %GlobalBinaryStream  to create thumbnails.

The requirement is also to use the method to resize new images that are uploaded.

Does anyone have a solution for this ?

I'm attempting to use the newest version of git-web-ui now that we've also updated to 2024.1.2. I'm having an issue though where I'm getting a 404 when launching the web gui from the Source Control menu in a production. If I look in the nginx logs I see the following:

My Business process connector receive a Oru_01 hl7 message with an ED segment inside (Base64 pdf). How is it possible to extract it and create a pdf file within?
Here is the sample of function I have. I know it doesn't work but if you could help me, it would be perfect. Here is my function, the goal would be it create the file where I want and return me the link of the file.

As you can read on the title, my question is to know how to retranslate the hl7 message into a string and so to remove the '\E' that are inside. A example/picture worth more than a thousand word.

As you can see, the escape character \E is used by hl7 message in the purpose to authorize a character '\' just but I don't want it in my program... Is there any function that retranslates this format into a "normal" format?

Is there a API specification for the ZPM / IPM package manager for anybody that would like to implement their own registry?

I learned about the Open Exchange tab here at Intersystems. I wanted to look at one of them, but when I clicked it, it tried to go to the site, then brought me back to openexchange.intersystems.com.  I then saw a "not secure" icon in the browser bar. I tried this on IE, Chrome, and Firefox, and could never seem to get into the site to look at the site https://openexchange.intersystems.com/package/Cach%25C3%25A9Quality.

NOTE: seems to affect only the link above.

Am I missing something? Is there a special setting I need to set to see these ideas?

I've been trying to set up a script I can run after installing an instance to enable IPM across all namespaces. I have been able to install IPM successfully using

Hello, Community, I tried to deploy online demo for interoperability-test app. I see it errored because BuildKit is not available. Can the Docker be configured to support BuildKit?

I'm just starting off with ZPM and noticed that examples of library-type packages and full applications abound, but I have not unearthed any that demonstrate packaging an interop production. It doesn't seem like it would be too big of a jump from a full application to an interop production, but that is likely ignorance speaking.

So, does anybody know if this is possible/advisable -- or if I am just way off on the intent of ZPM?

I have tried to install the module git-source-control into my USER namespace, but get the following error.

This module works from other namespaces.   I decided to re-install the latest published version of ZPM, and tried to install git-source-control class again and get this now:

I've just been tempted to the option exchange (curiosity) and when browsing, I often right-click, and open links in a new tab, eventually ;-) I have enough interesting open tabs to go off and read the tabbed articles,

I can't do this in open exchange, it will only allow a direct click to open the url.

even worse, when I come back (to where I left off) It starts from the top of the page.

any chance of changing the url's to allow us to right click and open in a new tab

I'm guessing that this applies to may other URL's around the intersystems community, but it's the first time it annoyed me.

who has tried "python gateway" in OpenExchange, could you please tell me how to  execute code in a local .py file? a cusotmer engineer ask me the question while I don't have time to study it yet. Thank you very much. 
 

I was wondering if someone could help me. I do not have docker available to me however a lot of the Open Exchange apps require it. Since I am using a Virtual Windows Machine I can not get docker installed, so I was wondering how to get around this? Someone at GS2022 suggested looking at the docker_compose.yml to figure out how to get around docker, but I am not sure I understand how to read it. 

Does someone have any quick solutions to get around docker compose? Or can tell me how to read a docker compose so that I can install some Open Exchange and or additional InterSystems components?

Is it possible to get a code quality stamp of approval on the Open Exchange with an application written in Javascript?
My Iris Whiz application is a browser extension written in Javascript and I wonder if having the code quality stamp missing from my application page will put people off from using it.

I am starting to look at add-ons/enhancements that can be made to our environment as we move from 2018.1.3 to IRIS 2022.1. During one of our internal meetings it was mentioned that it would be helpful to gather and keep track of metrics as we move to IRIS 2022.1. I am looking to at trying to capture Message Count, Database size, global sizes, etc. Through Global Summit, and Open exchange, I know there is SAM, Grafana, and Promethus.

Account.csp posts a rest call with _SYSTEM username and the password.

I do not understand why I see login failure in Audit database.

By extending %XML.Adaptor, we can use

Parameter XMLIGNORENULL   

to handle empty tags in output xml file from %Persistent. But this parameter only applies to %String property. What if a class has other types of properties, like %Stream (for holding large chunk of data). What is the recommended handle if we cannot use XMLIGNORENULL here?

Context: In change control, exported .xml file is important to make diff between versions.
