Where can I download the Cache ODBC drivers for Windows?

I need to connect to a cache database by odbc but the FPTs that I have found do not work, 
could you tell me where to download the ODBC drivers

We are accessing an InterSystems Cacha database from Microsoft SQL Server using a linked server over ODBC (ODBC35). Queries are executed using OPENQUERY.

On the SQL Server side, there is a linked server property called Query Timeout. By default it is set to 0 (no timeout). We are considering setting it to 15 seconds and would like to understand how Cache behaves in this scenario.

We are trying to make an ODBC connection via our intersystems ensemble (2016.2 running on ubuntu). However, when I am testing the connection I receive a pop-up that: "Http object response incomplete or invalid.0,#R". Note that the iodbctrace.log remains empty (and it is working because on the first try it registered a 459 error that I should activate kerberos, which I did). Any advise where I should look?

In MySQL I have the following table:

CREATE TABLE `info` (
   `created` int(11)
);

And it is linked (via JDBC SQL Gateway) to Cache table mysql.info.  `created` field stores unix timestamp. So when I execute  this SQL in SMP:

SELECT created FROM mysql.info

I receive the following output (which is expected):

But I want to to display `created` field converted to ODBC timestamp format. To do that I call this SQL procedure

Hello, I need to use IRIS to connect to an MSSQL base.
It has to be done via ODBC, I can't use JDBC at this time by client option.

I am trying to use Microsoft Driver
libmsodbcsql-13.1.so.9.2

But I can't, my attempts result in:
Connection failed.
SQLState: () NativeError: [11001] Message:

I have done all DSN configuration, and my configuration is listed in SQL Gateway Connections. I know it's working, because when I run a test with isql I have the information that connects to the bank.

I'm very new to InterSystems  Health Connect so may be doing something silly...

I'm trying to link to an Oracle DB view using the Link Table Wizard in the Management Portal. The wizard finds the view, but when I select it and click the 'next' button I get an error on the 'Select Columns' screen: 'ERROR #5534: Columns error' (and no columns show in the wizard). I've tried on several views and tables in the same DB but keep hitting the same error.

I have previously successfully mapped a view and table from the same DB and am not sure what I am doing differently. Any suggestions appreciated!

I've created a succesfull connection to Caché from SQL Server.

But when I run a SELECT on a table it gives an error on for example PrijsAkCatV.

Probably a datatype-error.

Does someone has a solution for this problem ?

From time to time we develop an Ensemble Production with simple SQL Inbound data from external databases, we need to develop a few new classes. There are at least:

• 1 Ens.Request class with the fields captured from the SQL ResultSet
• 1 Business Service class using SQL Inbound Adaptor, and in the OnProcessInput(), copy the relevant field data from ResultSet to the new Ens.Request, and call either ..SendRequestSync() or ..SendRequestAsync().

Attempting to setup an outbound (I'm querying out, not querying the IRIS db) SQL connection. I am connecting to a PostgreSQL database, name "hl7interface".

I have setup the odbc.ini file at /usr/local/etc with the following contents:

I need to download InterSystems Caché ODBC Data Source 2018 and I can't.
I want to know where I can download it.

I am very new to IRIS. We are developing a PHP application that connects to an IRIS instance of one of our vendors. I am having trouble with a specific table. When I need to query this specific table for specific fields, I am receiving an error. However, if I change the call to get all columns (`*`), there is no error. I get 37K records returned.

Error:

PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught PDOException: SQLSTATE[SL009]: <<Unknown error>>: [unixODBC][Driver Manager]No columns were bound prior to calling SQLFetch or SQLFetchScroll (SQLFetchScroll[0] at /builddir/build/BUILD/php-8.1.

I'm at a loss with configuring the IRIS ODBC driver (v02.10) on my Amazon Linux machine, connecting to a REMOTE IRIS backend.  It should be simplified by not requiring a DSN (the app uses a DSN-less connection and generates the connection string).  I have

Hi,

     I am trying to load all the data tables from one iris server to a client server but some of the tables data failing to load all the time. But I can load around 100 tables successfully  but 8 to 10 tables are failing all the time. I made an IRIS odbc connection using odbc driver to load the data from tables.

Also I can see read server loop error message on the iris server side as the same time the table loading fails.

Please find the screen shot attached which shows the error on client server.

Can anyone provide me an advise how to fix the issue.

Hi all, 

We are doing a SQL server upgrade to SQL server v.15 from a legacy server which had v.10 . I have our Cache server as a linked server int order to pull data from our system. When building out the ROWSPEC, I have my fields typed as %String with various lengths with one field having a max length of 15000. The SQL server is trying to interpret this as a text data type instead of varchar(n). Text is a depracated data type since SQL server 2008.

I am unable to connect to InterSystems ODBC client. I am seeing the following error:

[Cache ODBC][State : S1000][Native Code 417] Access denied.

I have a problem with connecting to IRIS via ODBC on Apple Silicon.

I installed unixodbc with brew, and downloaded ODBC-2023.1.0.229.0-macos.tar.gz from the community github repo.

After setting up odbc.ini so that libirisodbcur6435.so that was just downloaded is used as the driver,  isql fails as follows:

Connection via irisconnect failed:

I'm trying to extract data from an IRIS database into SQL server with SSIS using the ODBC driver: InterSystems ODBC35 (ODBC-2023.1.0.229.0-win_x64.exe)

I have Unicode turned off in the ODBC settings. 
I'm getting strange results - with some tables the SSIS ODBC connector will work but the ADO.net connector - using the same ODBC driver will. For other tables it's the other way round. The ADO.net sees the data as unicode and won't allow me to insert it into a non unicode table but ODBC will be fine.

In some cases I'm getting data that just looks screwed up

I'm trying to use LOAD DATA to insert 11k (11,377) rows of data. LOAD BULK DATA is not available for the version of IRIS I am using.

After calling LOAD DATA it says only 5,500 rows has been inserted. The LOAD DATA docs says any error rows are skipped and a count of skipped rows can be found in %SQL_Diag.Result however there are no results here. There are no errors in the xDBC error log either.

Why have over half the rows been skipped?

I have an error connecting the InterSystems cache with the odbc driver with the ODBC-2017.2.2.865.0-lnxrhx64.tar version using the ubuntu versions 20.04 and version 18.04 (which works with the .Net Core 3.1 version) with the Net 6.

Error:

Hi,

We need a web-based SQL tool to connect to Ensemble/Cache, that will offer more functionality than what the Management Portal offers.
It needs to be web based, so that we can host it on a machine that has connectivity to the server via the superserver port. We (the devs and support) only have browser access to the environment via Remote Desktops, hence the requirement.

Has anyone gotten OmniDB to connect to Ensemble/Cache? If so, can you please advise on how to configure it?

Any other suggestions for such a tool are also welcome.

I'm using the InterSystems Iris odbc driver (DriverODBCVer=02.10) to get data from Iris table but it is slow.

Is there any options to improve performance ? Increase the packet size ?

Change to do in odbcinst.ini / odbc.ini to make it quicker ?

As I am using docker, currently is not possible to build locally a new image using existing Caché ODBC Drivers on Mac M1.

I have a sql server using cache odbc driver 2010. There is no uninstall in the add programs and features tool.

I have tried installing odbc 2018 but the 2010 driver remains active .

How can I uninstall the 2010 driver or upgrade to 2018
