Please Help.

When I busy capturing the information into the database and when you press insert button then following error  pops up.

Local host:57772 says  A JavaScript exception was caught during execution of Hyper Event: Type Error: Cannot set property 'value' of  undefined .

This error is produced by cache technology. Your assistance in this regard is highly appreciated.

Has anyone called any outside Javascript code from inside their class files? I asked a long time ago if there was a way to manipulate an image within Cache Object Script, and since Cache doesn't have any image libraries its not really possible. However I have found Javascript to resize an image and wonder how hard it would be to mesh the two together.

Can anyone share any examples?

Thanks

Scott

In our language we have scandic letters like ä (a with two dots on it).

In Angular we use login like this:

let headers = new Headers();

password = Base64.fromBase64(password);

headers.append('Authorization', 'Basic ' + Base64.encode(username + ':' + password));

I cannot connect to Cache from node.js

I have installed in Windows 10 the following: CACHE 2016, node.js v 4.4.7 and  express .

-  where can I get cache.node? The link in the Intersystmes documentation  http://globalsdb.org/downloads/  doesn't work. I found cache0100.node and cache0120.node  in my Cache instance's  \bin directory. But I am not sure if I can use them or not.

 - how to install cache.node ? Where do I place it exactly?

Can anyone recommend any tutorial or code example with installation instructions?

Hello all,

I'm attempting to create a pop-up box with "Yes" and "No" for the buttons. I currently have a JavaScript confirm box but it has "OK" and "Cancel" as the response buttons. I have read that JQuery is a way to do, but is there a possibility of doing this with CSP instead of JQuery?

Thanks

Hi all-

We used to have this Java applet in our CSP page to "print all" and "download all" PDF medical reports.  We want this applet so that the user won't have to open each PDF in the browser just to print it.

But now most browsers do not support Java applets anymore due to security concerns, so that Java application is down.  We tried to migrate to Java Web Start but don't know how to invoke the JNLP file from the CSP page.  I am new to Cache so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,

We have a application currently running on Zen framework, now business wants to use Angular JS as their front-end technology for any future release but they don't want to upgrade the existing the modules which are already there in Zen (as of now).

Hi everyone, I have and Zen Mojo application, it's all working but I have some doubts about what is recommended to use: There is some reports of employees, for example, and actually I'm using some plugins : "Excelent export" to generate Excel reports and "jspdf" to generate PDF reports in client side.

I have an REST service, that receives the request, process and returns JSON, after client side receive the response it's processed.

- This can be slow/bad in applications with large data?

- It's better/recommended to use ZenReports even with ZenMojo applications?

the boss started using his new mac laptop, and now we are getting macintosh's own html escape characters being stored in the database especially in our text blocks, when we then print it we see things like don%u2019t instead of don't

so for example instead of the apostrophe we see %u2019 being stored. We've already noticed %u2018, %u2019, %u201C, %u201D, %2026

I'd like to replace the %u2019 with the nearest equivilent (especially when he starts to use left and right quote marks)

I have a Cache classes with %TimeStamp (e.g. 2016-04-18 12:29:11) and %Date (eg. 64027) properties. And I have a javascript client app, which needs full CRUD over this properties.

But in javascript date/time are defined by ISO8601 (e.g. timestamp 2016-04-18T12:29:11Z, date 2016-04-18).
