Windows ssh issues the following for the Home/End keys:

I've seen two cached queries are generated while executing a query. So, Why the additional query is generated and what is the use of it.

I'm working with isc.rest and am going through the tutorial right now. My project directory exists on my IRIS server. When I try to create a module.xml file in the root package, I get a #16006 error. I see that there is a "generate" command for zpm that should create a module.xml for me on my local filesystem. How can I create this module.xml in the same folder that holds my code living on the IRIS server?

An IRIS.DAT file was removed, as it was not needed anymore. But the database was mirrored, so it still shows up in the mirror monitor and database list. How can this be fixed? There is no backup of the .DAT file so it cannot be restored.

w ##class(SYS.Mirror).RemoveMirroredDatabase("/mydir/")

throws a protect error.

I am interested to execute ObjectScript commands from external language. I saw that IRIS provides the irisnative library for this.

I am using Windows and 8-bit IRIS server (due to compatibility with old software I need to use 8-bit instead of Unicode).

I encountered an unexpected behavior while working with the $ZTIMEH and $ZTIME functions, specifically with times between 12:00 and 13:00. Here's what I observed:

W $ZTIMEH("08:50:38.975411826")
Output: 31838

W $ZTIME(31838,1)
Output: 08:50:38

This behavior is correct as $ZTIME returns the expected time of 08:50:38.

However, with the following example:

W $ZTIMEH("12:05:38.975411826")
Output: 338

W $ZTIME(338,1)
Output: 00:05:38

A customer whose Ensemble code contains lots of hardwired API URL calls is running into issues because of the IRIS instance name insertion in the URL path since IRIS v 2024.1.

What are the best solutions to revert to the previous URL path or automatically and dynamically rewrite this path (Apache mod_rewrite ? Proxies ?). Any examples ?

I've got a select statement bringing back one value, I want to combine all rows into one comma delimited string. So for example:

SELECT First Name

FROM mydb.People

I get a list of names:

John

Fred

Sarah

Carl

Jane

Julie

Instead of having 6 rows in the result, I want one row, with one cell that has "John,Fred,Sarah,Carl,Jane,Julie"

Is there a way to do that?
