Does anyone know of a relatively quick and straightforward way of converting code written in the old dot scoping syntax with argumentless do (see here for reference: https://docs.intersystems.com/latest/csp/docbook/DocBook.UI.Page.cls?KEY=RCOS_cdo_legacy) to the modern parentheses scoping syntax? It's not too bad to do it by hand, but it's also easy to make a mistake and leave a "quit" in an if statement by accident for example.

I use Microsoft Query via Excel to query an Intersystems database.

Since upgrading from CACHE to Intersystems, lots of reports fail to refresh twice - by which I mean I can open the report (which may have several separate queries) and query the database once, and then it will refuse to reconnect.

I get:
[IRIS ODBC][State : S1000][Native Code 417] .... Access denied

If I then close and reopen excel, I can run the query again.

Hi all

We are looking into automating worklist report SQL queries that we run manually on InterSystems IRIS platform but we would like to have them run on a Java application.

This means we must have a way to get our java application to talk to IRIS in order for those queries to run. Please advise on how to go about this?

Regards,

Ephraim Malane

Problem with sftp

Hello, everyone,

I have the problem that when trying to connect to the SFTP server the error appears, the user and password are wrong. However, these are correctly stored under login data and I entered! SFTP in SSL Config. The connection works wonderfully with Filezilla. Anyone else has a tip for me?

Server Connections

I'm upgrading my laptop, and installed HealthShare 2020.2.  I wanted to import my server connections from my previous laptop, so I exported the Registry Keys (Windows 10) Under Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\InterSystems\Cache\Servers from the old machine.  I then imported them into new laptop, but I still don't get the list of connections in my HealthShare Remote System Access list from the HS Cube in my system tray.

Does anyone have a solution for this?  I thought this was more portable.

We are migrating servers

Trying to create IRIS ODBC connection in new window 10 machine, but getting an error "TCP connect() timed out."

In old server windows server 2012 - IRIS ODBC connection was already existed, working fine. if I create new/test with IRIS connection is fine.

Only issue in new server (windows 10), I am not sure why I am getting error. Can any one help.

I added Firewall outbound port, still it is not working.

Hello,

We are connecting to our client's Intersys database with python3.8 on our Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS, we are having trouble gettin the intersys.pythonbind module to work.

We are able to install the intersystems_irispython-3.2.0-py3-none-any.whl but, when we try to run the code we always get:

Traceback (most recent call last):

  File "./get_well_life.py", line 4, in <module>

    import intersys.pythonbind

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'intersys'

Please could you tell us what may be going wrong?

Hi

We have ODBC 32bit Encryption working on our database with a SSLDEFs.ini file.  However 64 bit ODBC Encryption will not work and give generic error, same error if the ini file is not there for 32BIT.

We have copied the ini file to the 64bit folder?  Any ideas please?

thanks
