Hi,

I have refreshed my TEST system database from my DR box.

TEST consists of 2 linux servers TEST_NODE1 & TEST_NODE2 which are mirrored as PRIMARY failover and BACKUP failover

This is what I've done:

1. Remove TEST_NODE2 as Backup member using do ^MIRROR

2. Remove TEST_NODE1 mirror configuration using SMP (System Management Portal) GUI

3. Stop IRIS on TEST_NODE1 & TEST_NODE2

4. Copy files IRIS.DAT from DR to TEST_NODE1

5. Start IRIS on TEST_NODE1

I have a passthru REST setup using EnsLib.HTTP.GenericService and EnsLib.HTTP.GenericOperation. Works well.

I am adding some logic to the Operation and for some scenarios I want to return an HTTP 40x response status code.

I'm trying to extract data from an IRIS database into SQL server with SSIS using the ODBC driver: InterSystems ODBC35 (ODBC-2023.1.0.229.0-win_x64.exe)

I have Unicode turned off in the ODBC settings.
I'm getting strange results - with some tables the SSIS ODBC connector will work but the ADO.net connector - using the same ODBC driver will. For other tables it's the other way round. The ADO.net sees the data as unicode and won't allow me to insert it into a non unicode table but ODBC will be fine.

Has anyone had success with passing in a collections property within a SOAP request to a Soap Service in Ensemble? Please reply with how you set up that collections property. I am able to successfully send a SOAP request correctly containing the elements of the collection property to Cache, as seen in a custom soap log file which I am using to troubleshoot. But the collection property in the Ensemble request is not getting serialized, meaning MyContainers has nothing.

My.Request consists of a property, MyContainers, which can have 0 or more Containers (My.Container)

I'm trying to configure an IRIS ODBC connection with "Windows NT authentication using the network login ID". I have created the System DSN as below:

and user (PROD\test) in the SQL Gateway connection

However, as the error message suggests, IRIS is trying to connect with PROD\svc_mist, rather than PROD\test configured above.

I need to list the calls from all business service/processes (DTL, BPL and code) - either to another business process or a business operation. i assume this is possible, as they can draw the lines on a production diagram so imagine there must be a way to do it but im scratching my head. Any help appreciated...

I'm using the EnumerateJobStatus query of class Ens.Util.Statistics to obtain the LastActivity value of a Business Host.

I would expect that this would return the timestamp of the last message received by the BH, understanding that any connect/disconnect activity would reset that timer. However, the time returned appears to actually be the time at which Ens.MonitorService generated the alert and is not directly related to anything that happened in the BH itself.

Has anyone seen this before? I'm new/bad at Docker and not even sure how to debug.

I have a client who' recently acquired a business that was running software that uses InterSystems IRIS as the database back end. In the process of preparing to have my company's software installed the client formatted the hard drive of his server, wiping out his data. I can't convert the data to MS SQL without a functioning database. He had a backup on an external drive, which I have copied down to my local machine. Our team has had success creating and publishing Power BI reports using an ODBC connection to an IRIS database, but there have been concerns about the responsiveness of these reports.

As an attempt to improve responsiveness, I'm trying out the "DirectQuery" connection using the InterSystems IRIS connector available in our version of Power BI Desktop (September 2021).

The version of IRIS I'm connecting with is "IRIS for Windows (x86-64) 2022.2"
