Hi folks!

Examining FHIR profile validation with InterSystems FHIR server. FHIR profiles is a very useful feature of FHIR standard that helps an organization or solution to establish constraints to a very disperse FHIR standards that are relevant to a particular business solution. I created a very simple FHIR profile with the following JSON:

Method Execute (args...) As %Status {
 #dim statement as %SQL.Statement
 set statement = ##class(%SQL.Statement).%New(2)
 set statement.%Dialect = "CACHE"
 do statement.prepare(query)

 #dim rs as %SQL.StatementResult
 set rs = statement.execute(args...)

My questions are: 1) how do I get the size of args **2) how to get all values of **args **3) is it possible to modify the **args?

EN Interopway XDBC

Hey guys!!!

I finally got some time to organize a set of classes that I've been using for a few years to make it easier and kill the repetitive work of developing intragrations using XDBC.

Access the project repository at https://github.com/cristianojs/interopway

I've already registered on the Open Exchange. I'm wait for approval.

The idea is to increase the project with more components, I already have one that the "dough is rising and is already going to the oven".

Any questions post here.

Hello guys,

I'm trying to install HealthShare on a virtual machine. The original language of this virtual machine was Russian, unfortunately I don't speak Russian hehehehe.
So I changed the original language to English, but when I installed HealthShare the portal was in English, but the terminal was in Russian and during installation it doesn't show me any option to select the language.

I am having an issue with a file not being deleted from the FTP server and returning an error to this effect. The file, however, was fully processed. This causes the file to process again.

My question is I seem to recall a flag that can be set to enable more detailed tracing to be done on the FTP service/adapter. However, I have not been able to locate this. Does anyone recall such a logging setting or was I just dreaming?

We have a scenario where an ObjectScript-based production calls a lookup service (SOAP in C#) to get information used in a value-set mapping process. The results can be cached in an IRISTEMP global to prevent a network call for every value, but that can hang around for quite some time on production systems.

The next logical step would seem to be to encapsulate strategies (LRU, MRU, etc.) and eviction code into an ObjectScript class that can be reused (we are not in a position yet to leverage embedded Python).

InterSystems is pleased to announce that the extended maintenance release of InterSystems IRIS, InterSystems IRIS for Health, and HealthShare Health Connect 2021.1.3 is now available. This release provides a few selected features and bug fixes for the previous 2021.1.x releases.

If you ever wondered how to debug some requests that are being made to or from IRIS, well here is a little tutorial on how to do that.

During a complex project, usually you get the specifications and implement the communication between IRIS and other things based on that. But from the paper to the real world there's usually a huge gap and you need to know why you are receiving an error on a parameter, on a header, you are not receiving the data and so on.

API to import/export routines

This is an article on the InterSystems FAQ site.

1. Export API

a. Use $system.OBJ.Export() to specify individual routines to export. For example:

do $system.OBJ.Export("TEST1.mac,TEST2.mac","c:\temp\routines.xml",,.errors)

The format to specify is routine name.extension, and the extension is mac, bas, int, inc, obj.

Errors during export are stored in errors.

Methods written in ObjectScript can use pass-by-reference arguments to return information to the caller. Python doesn’t support pass-by-reference arguments, so Embedded Python in IRIS doesn’t support them either. That's it, that's the end of the post, hope you liked it. 😉 But wait, what about the Classic Rock & Roll?

Hi we have started to get rid of orphaned data and would like to soon compact and truncate the database as will have about 40gb free to return to filesystem after the few weeks of running the new task.

The idea would be to do this on the shadow server first of mirror rather than primary.

Is there any reason this is a bad idea? Considering this needs done on both servers of mirrored db? As idea would be to do this on shadow server before we failover to the server a few days afterwards. And do the same for the month afterwards.

Hello, I'm using the InterSystems IRIS connector for Power BI to connect to our Iris for Health database, using Direct Query.

I have a column [Company] which is datatype bigint, and as far as I can tell the data is 2 for most (or all?) records.

When I bring the data into Power BI, every row shows as NULL (I think it should be 2 for most)

= Table.SelectRows(Table, each [Company] <> null and [Company] <> "")

-- removes all rows
