What is the correct way to import and compile .dfi files when using zpm load? Do .dfi files need to be defined in module.xml?

I have code that imports the .dfi file successfully; however, when I run
zpm "load /home/irisowner/dev/ -v"

I get the message: Unknown file type. Skipping file: .pivot.DFI

    zpm "install isc-dev"
    do ##class(dev.code).workdir(dir)
    do ##class(dev.code).import("*.DFI")

I need to expose InterSystems HealthInsight dashboards over the internet to external operators. The authentication flow is managed externally. When a user is authenticated, our system receives an HTTP request with specific headers (e.g., operator’s fiscal code and hospital identifier) that we need to extract in order to:

• Authorize the user to access the dashboards.
• Apply row-level security on the dashboards, filtering the data by hospital and user role.

Has anybody tried to extend the Menu on Management Portal? I like to add a new page or a dashboard that will be created soon to the Management Portal and allow others to use it also. I understand there are risks that I could lose things during an upgrade. I am okay with that. Does InterSystems support such an effort?

My team and I noticed that the %ZEN class documentation labeled all properties and methods as deprecated.

Example: %ZEN.Auxiliary.altJSONProvider - InterSystems IRIS Data Platform 2024.1 - including private class members

In this regard, the big question is: what will be used to replace these methods, in particular %ZEN.Auxiliary.altJSONProvider?

It is used as the basis for the MDX2JSON package, from which DeepSeeWeb gets data to build Analytical Dashboards.

Is a replacement proposed for deprecated methods of %ZEN class?

And when is this functionality scheduled to be permanently disabled?

We are using SQL based KPI's to display reports in IRIS dashboards. We have applied the filter functionality in these SQL based KPI reports.

I need your help for below scenario.

Below is my full report. Filter is applied on Name and Subject Name in this report.

Now I have used filter on Name and selected values 'Virat' and 'Big Show'

2 entries were displayed from 5 records.

Now when I look in Subject Name Filter, it still display all the distinct values of Subject Name.

I want this to display only Chemistry and Social (as Name filter got applied).

We have IRIS BI Reports in my application. I want to create a automated backend utility (similar to background cache system task) which run these bi reports and export them to PDF at a specific path. In dashboard we have defined  <property name="print">1</property> which allows report export to PDF.

Now I want to debug the code (line by line) from dashboard to  %DeepSee.UI.MDXPDF.cls but I am not sure is this possible or not.

Question: We have a server where we are currently storing archive PDF reports of our application.

We want to add and view these archive reports (PDF format only) in dashboards. Is there any way we can do this? Or any article which can help us performing this task.

How can I create a calculated member in Analyzer using MDX for the following logic?

I built a dashboard to show hourly instrument capacities based on a term list. The term list consists of the TestInstrumentID and the number of tests that instrument can perform in 1 hour. The calculation works correctly and the data is accurate but periodically if you go to check the dashboard the percentages all get changed to 100% across every hour. If you check it later or add an additional site to the filter then the percentages correct themselves. I don't know what's causing this or how to troubleshoot it because it does calculate correctly but is not consistent.

I have a pvot table defined. that generates a set of data.   I want. to. execute the pivot table programatically  which I believe involves using %DeepSee.ResultSet.  Does someone have an example showing how to apply filters to the results?

For. example

[DateTime of Filing].[Date].[Date Filed Year] = &[2023]

I would like to define an advanced filter within my pivot table that allows me to look at diagnosis codes, or at procedure codes - but I do not want to hard code values within the pivot table definition (get the %OR defined).

I would like to be able to allow my dashboard user to chose what specific diagnosis codes or procedure codes they are interested in. So for example one user may want to look for # of patients with cancer dx or patients who have had a radiation procedure.

How can I accomplish this OR feature using dashboard filters?

I'm trying to get my Combo Chart to dynamically scale the Y axis, but it's not doing what I would like. The 1st Y series, if the MAX value is set to null, scales the chart and the series fine, but then the subsequent Y axis are not to that same scale. Each "null" Max'ed series is setting it's own scale based only on it's own ranges and not in sync with anything else.

Is there a way to force all of the "null" scaled columns to be in the SAME scale as each other AND be dynamic.

Is it supported to be able to use member functions to define a set, in particular a set defined with a member range in the form:

set = member1:member2? 

The docs only show hardcoded values being used for member1 and member2 and I can get it to work if I use hardcoded values.  However if I try to use member functions it throws an error:

"ERROR #5001: Both parts of a range must be members"

While the below does not give me the correct answers without using the %All function, it does work.

We have been using DeepSee which has been the integrated Analytic Dashboard built over Cache Cubes. It works fine but it's visual capabilities are limited and most probably is getting phased out.

If I am not wrong, Tableau is the suggested alternative to DeepSee .

Is there a way in BI (DeepSee) to compare current value, to a value of a previous year?

For example I can hardcode this explicitly:

But I want in a widget to filter by year (1st column) and get the value for a previous year in a next column. YTY would be even better.

What MDX functions should I use? Examples?

Following instructions on this page https://docs.intersystems.com/latest/csp/docbook/Doc.View.cls?KEY=D2IMP… I am trying to create a Data Connector to be used as a base class for a cube with update support.
That page suggests that putting an SQL query inside XData block is not suitable for a Data Connector that supports updates.
Later it also suggests that to enable updates your SQL query must include 

WHERE $$$RESTRICT

Providing an example of it in XData block example like this

<sql>SELECT A,B,C FROM MyApp.

When creating pivots in DeepSee, there is the ability to group date dimensions by Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Year.  For some of our reporting the Week option is desired.  However the display looks like the image shown below.  Notice the "YYYYW##" formatting.

Is there any ability within DeepSee to modify the display of grouped week dates?  E.g. instead of 2020W14 it could be 03/30/2020-04/05-2020, or even just the start or end date, etc.

I have recently studied deepsee and developed few dashboards needed for our web app users. I am trying to embed them in our existing web app which uses angular with delegated user access. I need to embed the native IRIS dashboard into it. ( I can't use Highcharts or any other js tools). 

How do I setup the dashboards to work with delegated authentication (Without providing access to management portal or other parts) ? Also should I use the default csp/{Namespace}/_DeepSee.UserPortal.DashboardViewer.zen? or any other web application URL ?

How can I make it happen?

I was having trouble with some dimension based calculated members defined in Analyzer.  They would work and then not work.   At one point I had two identical calculated measures, same code, same specification and one would work and one would not.  I was trying to set them up in "shared storage", that checkbox in the calculated member dialog that should allow the measures to be used across multiple pivots.

Is it possible to create a pivot table with a column containing a clickable hyperlink using a field from the cube definition as a part of the link?

 The question that I have , it's very simple. I developed a pivot that contains two rows, the first it's a date and the other another field. I need to orde by date in descending order and I can´t find where I can do this. I saw that it's a option Sort members, but it's based  in a condition of the measures. 

Can someone help me with this.

In addition to charts on a dashboard we have a request to have a crosstab which would be populated by some entries queried out of an error log.  It's basically a detail query with mostly text data.  I have tried making a pivot widget for this using both a cube and kpi source, and while succeeding with the KPI, it leaves a lot to be desired. 

Firstly, the cube is a no go.  As far as I can tell the MDX subsystem in IRIS does not handle empty cells efficiently like other MDX systems such as Oracle's and Microsoft's.

How do we return a member from a set?  For example if I want a calculated measure to return the NAME of the date with the max transactions, to get the set ordered I might do something like:

ORDER([TransactionDate].[YearMonthDate].[Date].MEMBERS, [Measures].[TransactionCount], DESC)

But how do I access the first member in the set as a member so that I can get to the properties such as the member NAME (what I want to return in this case)?

In some MDX implementations like Microsoft there are kind of backdoor functions for this like:

ORDER([TransactionDate].[YearMonthDate].[Date].MEMBERS, [Measures].

The documentation says that the MDX extended function %TIMERANGE returns a member.

However it seems like it produces a set of time members from the description ("a range of members").  Perhaps behind the scenes it is making a calculated member?  I am able to plug the return "value" from %TIMERANGE into the SUM function, which takes a set as an argument, and I get a correct answer.  So SUM((%TIMERANGE(...)) works, however COUNT(%TIMERANGE(...)) does not work and returns a cryptic error:

Should we be able to use %TIMERANGE as a set argument to any mdx function that takes a set argument?
