The >/</= etc. operands in named filters are great... except they won't work with measures ('native' or calculated - and what a boon it would be if they could work with both).

Are there any plans to add this capability?

And are there any plans to have a 'named filter' control within widgets that would let you change the operand?

I am moving some DeepSee components to another environment and would like to know if the pivots and dashboards have to reside in the "Other" branch of the Workspace in Studio.

Is there any way to remove the Count measure from a pivot table or more importantly, a DeepSee widget.

Even if I do not add it as a measure in the Analyzer, the column "All" shows up.

Anyone have an idea on how to hide or remove it in a Dashboard Widget?

Dear Folks,

I have recently studied deepsee and developed few dashboards needed for our web app users. I am trying to embed them in our existing web app which uses angular with delegated user access. I need to embed the native IRIS dashboard into it. ( I can't use Highcharts or any other js tools).

How do I setup the dashboards to work with delegated authentication (Without providing access to management portal or other parts) ? Also should I use the default csp/{Namespace}/_DeepSee.UserPortal.DashboardViewer.zen? or any other web application URL ?

I was having trouble with some dimension based calculated members defined in Analyzer. They would work and then not work. At one point I had two identical calculated measures, same code, same specification and one would work and one would not. I was trying to set them up in "shared storage", that checkbox in the calculated member dialog that should allow the measures to be used across multiple pivots.

Is there anyway to improve the performance of the display of DeepSee dashboards?

It takes minutes to do the cell calculations of computing the axis members.

Any direction or help would be appreciated.

Is there a way in BI (DeepSee) to compare current value, to a value of a previous year?

For example I can hardcode this explicitly:

But I want in a widget to filter by year (1st column) and get the value for a previous year in a next column. YTY would be even better.

What MDX functions should I use? Examples?

In addition to charts on a dashboard we have a request to have a crosstab which would be populated by some entries queried out of an error log. It's basically a detail query with mostly text data. I have tried making a pivot widget for this using both a cube and kpi source, and while succeeding with the KPI, it leaves a lot to be desired.

I'm looking for a means to dynamically specify and/or limit the data from the source that goes into a cube at build time.

I have a single data class that defines my source, and as the data within this table/collection grows/changes over time, I would like to be able to control which records actually make it into the indexed cube, but I'm having a hard time (short of defining a stored procedure to use instead of the extent query) for populating my cube indexes.

What is the shortest frequency of time I can set to have Cubes rebuilt.

When creating pivots in DeepSee, there is the ability to group date dimensions by Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Year. For some of our reporting the Week option is desired. However the display looks like the image shown below. Notice the "YYYYW##" formatting.

Is there any ability within DeepSee to modify the display of grouped week dates? E.g. instead of 2020W14 it could be 03/30/2020-04/05-2020, or even just the start or end date, etc.

does anyone have an example of using %DeepSee.Utils:%GetDimensionMembers where you want to apply certain filters

For example I have a date dimension that I want to get all of the months level but filtering for only a specific year.
