GitHub is the largest web service for hosting IT projects and their joint development. This web service is based on the Git version-control system - a distributed version-control system for tracking changes in source code during software development.
I am about to configure a server with continuous integration for a client. I found that our Russian friends have again come up to the rescue and developed not one, but two continuous integration tools for Git and Caché:
I am currently evaluating Source Control systems that we can use for both MS SQL, MS Visual Studio, and InterSystems IRIS. For both MS SQL and MS Visual Studio we do have the option of either Azure or GitHub. I understand when we upgrade to IRIS 2019.1 we have options for Source Control, and in previous Global Summit's I have heard GitHub discussed. So why can't I user GitHub for both MS SQL/MS Visual Studio and IRIS?

It looks like Mumps is supported, and there is also an existing language with a .cls extension, which would account for why I see some very odd highlighting going on with some of my code.

I have a question about how teams are using Atelier, in my experience, using a single-server/multi-developer environment is becoming problematic for us, especially when using GitHub to source control our code, let me explain...
Is anyone using Atelier with 3 environments (instances with multiple namespaces) (DEV, TEST, PROD) using GitHub as the source control.
I would be interested in how its all setup. So for example;
Would you have three branches for the code or 3 repo's.
Would you have three projects in Atelier to communicate with the environments and GitHub?
I have 3 existing environments that I wish to put under source control and also provide the ability to promote code between the environments in a controlled manner.
We have installed IRIS on a separate server that we access remotely and copied all code and data to it so we can test IRIS before we do the move.We develop directly on the server.
I am new to Intersystems, in our project we are directly connecting to the server (environment) using Intersystems VSCode extensions and publishing our changes from local machine. This is not the way we usually do as development process.
Is it possible to implement continuous integration ? So that developers can check-in their code in GIT Hub and can integrate Jenkins and automate the deployment?

There are a select few in the group that have been using Github as a Local Client push to a Repository setup in GitHub. Questions were brought up today about the security, and possible issues when it comes to data being pushed in this method.
Looking over code we have noticed that there is Histogram data within some of the class files that could be considered a security issue. Does anyone else have concerns with the Histogram data being within the class files pushed up to github?
