Is there a way to use a property of the type %Persistent class in a  %ZEN.Component.page class?
Example:

// Data class
Class PersistentClass Extends %Persistent
{
    Property Value As %String;
}
// Page class
Class ClassName Extends %ZEN.Component.page
{
  Property TestProperty As PersistentClass
}

The problem is that when using it the described in the example.
The property can be set in a Method like this:

Method DoStuff() As %Status  [ ZenMethod ]
{
    Set result = ##class(HBS.EnsUtil.CompanyFunctions).GetData(.aVariable) // aVariable is of type PersistentClass
    Set

In HealthShare, we can add any new application that will show up in the left menu of the viewer. I am trying to add new navigation entries that will look like 'patient search' popup.

- Is Intersystems sharing its HealthShare style? They are using material tags, but it looks very different that the default material themes. I probably can pick up the style, but perhaps there is an official way.
- Is there a way to do a popup like patient search? So far I see, a new option is associated to an url not some javascript code?

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Over time I have created an house-automation solution based on IRIS:
90% of my code is pure ObjectScript, with the most recent 10% being the use of Python libraries for specific tasks.
All of the above being terminal based up to now.
I would like to expose some configuration options / parameters via a very simple web page, to be serviced with the IRIS private web service (so I don't want to use an external Webserver just for this..)

My question:

I've done this Let's write an Angular 1.x app with a Caché REST backend here in the community and it

works fine for me.

The REST in Caché is already developed but im hanging at the searchbar in Angular, don't know how to solve this.

Has somebody an example to help me out?

Any help would be appreciated.

When refreshing a html or tablePane component using refreshContents() that takes a lot of server-side-processing, I'm running into timeouts every now and then. i.e., the result for the tablePane is that there's nothing displayed at all.

How can we configure (relax) that timeout so also those heavier ones get refreshed eventually? Just overriding %request.Timeout in %OnPreHTTP did not seem to do the trick.

I want to consume external websocket api, URL looks like this:

wss://site.com/ws/v2/?&token=<token>

Checked with external tool (Simple WebSocket Client) that websocket works and I can consume the data.
In Cache the relevant functionality is offered by %IO.Socket class.

set sock = ##class(%IO.Socket).%New()
set sock.SSLConfig = "MyEmptySSLConfig"
set sock.TranslationTable="UTF8"
do sock.Open("site.com/ws/v2/?&token=<token>","443", 10,.sc)

However I get this error:

ERROR #7109: Timed out after 10 seconds trying to open stream '|TCP|443|42881' [zOpen+41^%IO.Socket.

Hello,

I am trying to use %ZEN.proxyObject to send out in JSON format so I do:

    set tProxyRequest = ##class(%ZEN.proxyObject).%New()
    set tProxyRequest.notanumber = "28001"
    set tProxyRequest.aboolean = "true"

    set tBody = ##class(%GlobalCharacterStream).%New()
    do ##class(Ens.Util.JSON).ObjectToJSONStream(tProxyRequest,.tBody,"aelotwu")
    w tBody.Read()

and I get:

{
        "aboolean":"true",
        "notanumber":28001
}

But I want this:

{
        "aboolean":true,
        "notanumber":"28001"
}

Help please !

Hello,

I work on a dashboard. I understand basic html. I like to draw two boxes in different colors on the background. There will be multiple small boxes inside or over the boxes in the background. I defined the large boxes as <div> and the smaller boxes also as <div> inside the larger <div>. So far so good.

How can I draw lines with arrows between the smaller boxes?

Each small box represents a process that gets a number in a circle and a status indicator: green = okay, red = not okay.

Suppose I have a web application named "/my/api", with a dispatch class configured (a subclass of %CSP.REST), and I want to be able to respond to:

GET /my/api/something/:id

by loading an object with the specified ID and returning it as JSON

GET /my/api/another-thing/data.js

by returning the contents of a file (data.js) in a configured location in the filesystem, ideally based on the "CSP files phsyical path" for /my/api.

Hi

I am working on a project that will interact with some software called ROS (Robot Operating System). One of the development challenges we have is as follows:

ROS uses web sockets... So one connect with ws://localhost:9090 to the web socket server.  It starts off as http, but then "upgrades" to web socket.  It then keeps open this "tunnel" for bi-directional communication..

I need something like a HTTP Outbound adapter, but the Web Socket version of it...

Does anyone have any experience in this area?

Nigel

I have a case where I have an external table that lives out in MS SQL. Using Ensemble Security functions has anyone created a csp or cls page that acts like a portal to allow users to Update a multidimensional table without knowing SQL? I could clone the EnsPortal.LookupSettings but that was made for LUT which are only 2 columns.

I know its a long shot but trying to see if there was anything off the shelf that I can use to help meet the requirements of this project.

Hi,

   I've heard from two different sources the SMP (or parts of it) and for sure the DTL front end (in studio? via SMP?) have been rewritten to be more modern.  But on a latest IRIS Community download everything looks the same to me.  Am I missing something or is this Marketting Spin?

  Hopefully I won't get banned for this post aswell......

Question Laura Cavanaugh · Nov 26, 2019

Hello community,

I recently added a change to our copy of zenutils.js, and while moving it up to production, I found  different versions of zenutils.js.  I edited a copy stored in the default directory for our web application  (e.g. c:\intersystems\DEV\CSP\{application}) but the file on production is stored in {install dir}\CSP\broker.

Where should this file live, and if it lives in the default dir for our web application, is that location used before CSP\broker?  We have way too many copies of this file, and the copy that I edited was out of sync with the version on production.

In .NET Core you have an option to extend a session using a "sliding expiration". This means that if over half the time has passed and the user actively uses their session then the expiry timer gets reset and the user remains logged in. This can lead to the curious situation where you have an active authenticated user with an expired access token being used in data-access requests.

Hello Cache Developers!  The purpose for this post is to outline a coding challenge that I have encountered when trying to use shortcuts (i.e. CTRL+G) within a ZEN application.   Allow me to provide a summarized background:

Our application has a ZEN page (call it the PPL page) with a tablepane that displays a list of records.   This page also has an iFrame (#1)

  • The tablepane allows the user to select one or more rows from the table and will click one of the appropriate buttons on that page to invoke a looping process that allows the user to work each of the selected records one-by-one.

Hello,

I've got a csp page that has successfully set up a websocket connection to a Cache class. When the websocket object's close function is triggered at the browser I was expecting one of the class' methods to fire at the server. The onclose method is triggered at the browser but nothing at the server. Is a method supposed to fire at the server?

Thanks,

Dan

CSP pages extend %CSP.Page. What about html/css/js/etc that are hosted on the same web application? Is there any way to override how they're processed like with how you can override a CSP page and CSP REST logic?

Thank you!

Hello everyone smiley

I have a server configuration in a CSP Gateway installed on a PC (let's call it S2) different from the main one (let's call it S1). This configuration allows me to access a web application that is installed on S1, from a client C asking S2 for this webapp. But for now it works only in HTTP between C and S2, and we would like to use HTTPS (as it already works between S2 and S1).

First here are the tutos found in the doc:

Hi -

I'm having odd behaviors on my EC2 hosted IRIS Community instance.

When I configure a "custom login page" in the System Management Portal for my web application I'm seeing a few different behaviors that are under documented (and also undesired)

The old Caché documentation indicates that the custom login page could be a ".csp" file, but this seems to nor be the case (i kept getting "not found" errors, even though I could bring up the page directly from the url FOR the login.csp file. To get around this, I created an HTML file and then, at least, the login page could be found to be rendered.
