Remove comment/answer

Hi community,

This is an idea to improve the community. Add a button to remove a comment/answer in a post. There is not a way to remove a comment, only I can edit. For example, duplicated comment, an answer that it was for a post but I've written in other one. etc...

Best regards,

Francisco López

I've "favorited" several communites (the Ensemble community, for example). I assumed that since Ensemble shows up in my subscriptions I would receive emails when there was activity in that group. My settings are the defaults: hourly, on updates, on comments. Perhaps, I'm going about this the wrong way, but I would like to be able to subscribe to a community (and not just a conversation) and get email updates on activity. How do I set this up?

Hi!

Today DC supports the notifications for the posts' updates. It means if someone changes the post text, title, group or tag you can be notified about that.

But this notifications just inform that there were updates, but do not show what exactly was changed in the post.

So through this, you can get the notifications for the posts from previous years without any reason what's happened.

I would suggest to turn off this types of notifications until we'll implement the details in notifications, what exactly was changed in the post and why did you get it.

Hello,

I am working on a Rest Service that should accept a particular content type. How and where can I set the value?

I have tried setting the value %response.ContentType by overriding Page method OnPreHttp() but from what I see this method never got executed.

Thanks

Raghu

I have posted my first question in "Cache" forum this morning and since then, I started receiving emails whenever a new topic is posted. I don't want to receive such emails and looked for a way to tweak for "email preferences". However, I couldn't find any such option. Can someone please tell me how I can stop emails for all the posts?

Thanks,

Raghu

When starting a post, especially for the beginner there are a lot of buttons, check marks, icons etc. On some of them when you hover you get a very brief descriptions. In reading through some of the responses to the Developer Community Feedback there is a lot of good information.

Could one of the moderators, who know all the tricks put together a one or two page "cheat sheet?" or beginner guide?

This "Cheat Sheet" would be of great help!

I get the impression that there is a great push to encourage others to use the Developers Community.

Simplifying the editor

Do you think our editor has too many unused features?

I propose removing some, so it would look nice & clean!

Here's some buttons that I think we really can let go.

What do you think?

Communities vs Groups

In the recent march 15 update, there are multiple references to "groups". However in the menus, it still references "Communities" (Connect->Communities)

Shouldn't we update the menus to standardize on the word group(since that seems to be the popular/de facto term)?

Also I was forced to choose a related topic. There is no topic like: "misc", "other", "feedback", "site ui", etc. so I choose online learning
