I want to disable / turn off the visible cursor and then re-enable from with a Cache MUMPS (COS) routine.
Can anyone advise please ?
I am using the free Intersystems Cache installation (CachePCkit V2017.1) on Windows 10 for my own use & personal development.

I am trying to write a generic process that will take any incoming message but would like to know where it came from so in my code I would like to do something like this

Just to be clear in the route you get these features is there a way of accessing them in code

Working with a client who has two TryCache instances on his W10 machine. Trying to bring in globals from a text file which works fine in my environment but on his, he cannot make ^%GI accept a file from his C drive. His Cache is on C as is mine. Checking the path and the file name carefully, it is accurate. D ^%GI and enter the path with filename (as works fine for me on my system) and he gets a message [unavailable] and when he hits enter out of that message, he sees Cannot import from THIS device. I think I'm missing a config or security setting of some kind but I don't know what it is.

I'm connecting to a remote device using TCP. It has a binary protocol.

The problem is when reading from it, I get a 0A (also known as 10 or \n or linefeed) byte, which terminates the read.

Expected output:

0000: 42 00 7B 0A 11

But I get this output:

0000: 42 00 7B

How can I fix that?

I've stumbled on some unexpected behavior, and decided to check with you if this is normal. Basically, I'm rebuilding indices and the result is not journaling (which leads to missing indices at shadow server).

HI I am using below code to retrieve the last inserted ID of the table. It works when we do not set any custom column as IDKey. If we define any column as

in our system we usually display an information if someone locks data that another user tries to edit. Like: "Data locked by <user>/<program>"

We have a global that is set at userlogin with following information:

^BA020(0,3,$job) = "<user>;<program>"

We show that information by getting the jobnr/owner from the locktable ^$LOCK("<ref>","OWNER") and looking at ^BA020.

Reviewing a client console log, I am finding the message:

Terminal disconnect: The specified network name is no longer available.

This message is repeated in the log dozens of times per day over the last month. The client has not raised a concern and our monitoring has not detected any issues with client ops. The client is not aware of any recent changes with their apps. I am not familiar with this message and whether this message is benign or whether there is any action required,

As Intersystems Cache for Windows comes with a custom Apache version (2.4.52) and has some security risks, so not advised to be used for Production servers/environments. I want to install the new version of Apache (2.4.58) and replace it with the built-in version of it. Is there an easy and convenient way to perform this upgrade? My target is to completely replace the built-in version and replace it with a new version so that it passes the security scan.
