Atelier 1.1 Beta

Syndicate content 4

Often, the first time I start up Eclipse (Atelier plug-in), all of my local classes indicate "warning" as if they are out-of-sync. When I  try to synchronize, I get the following error:

Synchronization failed: [server is broken] java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Provider org.glassfish.jersey.internal.RuntimeDelegateImpl could not be instantiated: java.lang.IllegalStateException: No generator was provided and there is no default generator registered

The only way to correct this is to shut down Eclipse and restart. Is there a resolution for this?

When assigning the filter to the server explorer in Atelier to hide system classes, it works only in server explorer.

The same server explorer option linked to a given project does not appear to observe the filter setting from the server connection, and has no ability to assign filters at the project level. Is this an enhancement needed or am i missing the logical requirement?

Also when assigning a tag to this post, only Atelier 1.1 BETA comes up. I believe i am using the stable release of 1.1

Please forgive me if these questions have been asked and answered before, I've tried searching the posts and docs and really haven't found the answer yet.

  • How does one find and open existing .HL7 and .LUT files in Atelier like one would do in Studio in order to add them to your local project, edit, then save them back to the server?
  • When I attempt to create a new HL7 schema file by right clicking on the project, selecting "New" and "Custom File" and selecting the HL7 Schema wizard, then choose a name and pick something like 2.5 for the base schema, It creates the XML file - but every time I try to compile/save I only get either "Synchronization failed: Invalid header" but always a warning "Resource is out of sync in namespace"

I also noticed that there is no New -> Custom File -> Data Transformation in either the standard or custom templates. I assume something like this is still in development?

Thanks!

Hi,

I have an Atelier question.

I have a routine developed in Studio to upload a tab-delimited text file to process using Objectscript into Cache.

In Windows, to upload the file “test.txt”, I used the Objectscript commands,

      Set uploadfilename = “c/testdata/RNAseq/GDC download 11-19-17/GDC download 11-19-17 counts/GDC download 11-19-17 unzipped/test.txt”
      set file = ##class(%Stream.FileCharacter).%New()
set file.Filename = uploadfilename ; pass in the file name of the file you want to open.

How should this be done on a mac?

Should I use the UNIX,

   Set uploadfilename = “\Users\peterpiper\Desktop\testdata\RNAseq\GDC download 11-19-17\GDC download 11-19-17 counts\GDC download 11-19-17 unzipped\test.txt”

Or, the mac OS style

I am trying to find documentation on how Cache Studio locks a Routine/Class a developer is editing.

On the flip side, I am looking for documentation on how Atelier does the same.

Ultimately I am looking for the differences and what happens if both Studio and Atelier through different developers go after the same Routine/Class.

I am not asking for an answer (however that would be nice), I am looking for pointers to documentation.

offers the latest features and bug fixes. It now updates your installation of Atelier to build 1.1.310 for Mac, Windows, Red Hat, SUSE and Ubuntu. Here’s an account of what’s recently been improved:

New Features:

  • The SQL parser has been significantly enhanced including performance improvements
  • The JavaScript parser has been simplified for performance improvements. The class shown in the example below invokes the JavaScript parser. The "File is too large to parse properly" issue has been fixed.

It's been 6 months since InterSystems released Atelier 1.0 and we continue to roll out enhancements and new features through the beta channel (please see the Atelier Download page for details). In the meantime, we have received a lot of messages from the Developer Community with ideas for further improvements. Based on your feedback, we created a roadmap for Atelier 1.1 so you can conveniently track when specific features are going to be integrated.

Below is a list of the major improvements planned for 1.1, which we are expecting to demo at the Global Summit.

1. Legacy File Support – You will no longer have to convert XML files to UDL, though conversion is still recommended.

2. Performance Improvements – Tasks that were slow in Atelier 1.0, such as copying files to a project, will show significant improvements
