We are trying to write an external backup application to backup Cache Database. After going through the Cache DB documentation, we have found that in Backup.General class there are methods for creating snapshot (Freeze/Thaw) which is required during backup. Are there REST APIs for the same?

We have a piece of Caché software which calls an external utility using $zf(-1,command). It works fine under Linux, but under Windows an external process occasionally hangs (due to some internal problems out of the scope here) and need to be killed programmatically. Having PID, it's easy to kill a process. If a Caché process is called with JOB command, the caller can easily get its PID from $zchild, but alas $zf(-1) does not seem to return the similar info. Is it possible to get it somehow?

Hello Cache Developers: I was curious if anyone has ever created a TWAIN interface to their Cache Application? I am new to TWAIN and hence the reason for this question. Just like the title says, I'm attempting to find a way to create a web application that instead of serving CSP files, it uses a dispatch class.
I searched for clues in the documentation, but the CSPApplication tag seems to be exclusively for CSP file-based applications.

I'm trying to avoid implementing a workaround such as using the Invoke tag to call the Security.Applications to generate the web application but I might be forced to do so, even though it's unpleasant if I had to say...

So, is there an official way to execute this task?

Hi All, We have been using DeepSee which has been the integrated Analytic Dashboard built over Cache Cubes. I have the Client Cert, Private key and the Root Certificate

The connection is successful from local (both via terminal and as well via Postman)

But when trying from IRIS application by configuring the certificates in the SSL configuration, i am not able to successfully verify the SSl connections

Actually, I'm developing few restful API's. I want to create a authentication tokens and display it on my login restful API. If I'm using CSP sessionId, how can I validate the session Id's in another or continues restful API's. else, is there any other approach to handle this task.

My Primary goal is, I have to integrate 2 different front end applications. One is Zen framework another one is web pages from Python.
