If you're building solutions on IRIS and want to use Git, that's great! Just use VSCode with a local git repo and push your changes out to the server - it's that easy.
I am pleased to announce the availability of InterSystems Container Registry. This provides a new distribution channel for customers to access container-based releases and previews. All Community Edition images are available in a public repository with no login required. All full released images (IRIS, IRIS for Health, Health Connect, System Alerting and Monitoring, InterSystems Cloud Manager) and utility images (such as arbiter, Web Gateway, and PasswordHash) require a login token, generated from your WRC account credentials.
I am happy to announce that InterSystems API Manager is now generally available. InterSystems API Manager (IAM) is a new feature of the InterSystems IRIS Data Platform™, enabling you to monitor, control and govern traffic to and from web-based APIs within your IT infrastructure.
To simplify the upgrade processes and to keep up with industry standards, we decided to make Atelier only available as an Eclipse plugin. Those of you who are currently using a standalone Atelier client will not be able to upgrade to a later version.
Please go to the Atelier Download page or see the sections below for the detailed instructions about installing Eclipse and the Atelier plugin. Feel free to reach out to support or leave a comment down below if you have any questions.
Docker 20.10.14 (released March 23, 2022) changes the Linux capabilities given to containers in a manner that is incompatible with the Linux capability checker in InterSystems IRIS 2021.1 (and up) containers.
Users running Docker 20.10.14 on Linux will find that IRIS 2021.1+ containers will fail to start and the logs will incorrectly report that required Linux capabilities are missing. For example:
InterSystems is pleased to announce that InterSystems Caché and Ensemble 2018 are now released!

Modern businesses need new kinds of applications — ones that are smarter, faster, and can scale more quickly and cost-effectively to accommodate larger data sets, greater workloads, and more users.
With this in mind, we have unveiled InterSystems IRIS Data Platform™, a complete, unified solution that provides a comprehensive and consistent set of capabilities spanning data management, interoperability, transaction processing, and analytics. It redefines high performance for application developers, systems integrators, and end-user organizations who develop and deploy data-rich and mission-critical solutions.
Hope most of you already familiar with project CachéQuality from @Daniel Tamajon. For those who don’t know about it, it is a static syntax analyzer for your code written for InterSystems products. It may help you to find and solve many different types of issues in your code, and even possible bugs before clients will find it in production. So, with help of CachéQuality you will be able to deliver a better product. You can find the complete list of rules used to check ObjectScript code here.
It was already available in Studio. And now it is also available in VSCode.
I am pleased to announce that the Evaluation Service is now LIVE!
If you are an InterSystems End User or an InterSystems Partner and you want to try the latest version of IRIS with all its enterprise features (mirroring, ECP and sharding), and you want it NOW, this is for you.
This announcement is to inform clients about changes in our 2016.2 and 2016.3 field test programs.
The 2016.2 field test has been extended in order to address important syntax changes related to JSON. Simply stated, the JSON syntax introduced in 2016.1 had several inconsistencies that we did not want to perpetuate. This is now addressed and the updated 2016.2 field test will be published today. Concurrently, the syntax changes and guidance for developers will be posted on the Developer Community shortly. JSON is critically important to our Caché roadmap.

We at George James Software are pleased to announce that our acclaimed code debugger and editorSerenji is now available as a Visual Studio Code extension.
As well as supporting the latest InterSystems IRIS platform Serenji also works with earlier platforms, including versions lacking the server-side Atelier API support required by other VS Code extensions.
Serenji connects you directly to the code in your namespaces, resulting in an experience more familiar to existing Studio users. No need to export and import classes and routines.
We believe Serenji is the first extension to bring VS Code's powerful debugging features to ObjectScript developers.
