Here are some news on Developer Community enhancements.
In March we fixed a lot of bugs and rearranged the notification system, so I hope you'll be happy with it now.

We are starting InterSystems Developer Community meetups: events to discuss InterSystems technology in person.
This would be 2-3 hours evening events to meet and discuss the best practices, new features, share experience regarding implementation of InterSystems technologies and products.
Besides free discussion and networking there would be 3-4 sessions delivered by InterSystems engineers. Local partners are very welcome to participate as speakers too!
June 26, 2017 – Alert: Data Corruption with Mixed Endian Mirror Shadowing
InterSystems has corrected a defect that may result in corruption of Unicode data on a shadow system whose source is an async mirror member.
This defect affects all currently released Caché, Ensemble, and HealthShare distributions beginning with version 2012.2.0. All platforms and operating systems are affected.

InterSystems has performed various system and application benchmarks to determine the potential performance impact after the corrections for Meltdown have been applied.
As previously announced, 2017.1 on VSI OpenVMS 8.4-1H1 is the final major version of Caché and Ensemble. 2017.1 will not be available for VSI OpenVMS versions beyond 8.4-1H1.

InterSystems has corrected a defect that can result in data integrity problems in environments that use InterSystems mirroring in conjunction with parallel dejournaling. This problem exists for currently released Caché and Ensemble versions beginning with 2017.2 and for InterSystems IRIS Data Platform version 2018.1.

InterSystems has corrected a defect in applications that use Unicode character 223 (ß). This defect can result in incomplete query results, class compilation errors, and removal of custom SQL privileges.
This problem occurs on systems that are running or have previously run on:
Caché and Ensemble 2018.1.0, 2018.1.1, and 2018.1.2
HealthShare Health Connect (HSAP) 15.032 on Core versions 2018.1.0, 2018.1.1, and 2018.1.2
HealthShare Health Connect 2019.1
InterSystems IRIS data platform – all currently released versions
InterSystems IRIS for Health – all currently released versions
The defect is triggered by data and component names containing Unicode character 223 (ß). In the versions listed above, an uppercase conversion incorrectly maps that character to Unicode character 7838 (ẞ). Applications perform this uppercase conversion using features such as $ZCONVERT and %SQLUPPER.
Problems can occur when accessing data or classes created or modified on a product with a different uppercase conversion than the one currently in use.
InterSystems Atelier has been tested with OpenJDK 8. The InterSystems Eclipse plug-in is currently available for Eclipse Photon (4.8), which requires and works with Java 8.
